I've never really liked Cadillacs. However, I am straight up in love with the CTS-V. |

Too bad it's Hennessey, think I'd prefer to have what ever is left of Lingenfelter build one. Heard too many bad things about Hennessey as a businessman to trust him with anything I own.

I had a friend that worked for them and he said that they were constantly cutting corners (lets face it most auto shops do, I know when I worked at a chevy dealership I was forced to do the same). It was to the point that on one of their vipers you would buy one of the packages and lets say they didnt have the clutch that you paid for, they would just leave the stock clutch in it and call it good. When I am paying for like 750rwhp you are going to leave me with a stock clutch that is designed for 500 max? That is BS! If that is the case just think about all the other stuff they are not doing. Lingenfelter does have one that is 750rwhp supercharged and even that would be a beast.

Sell one and figure out how much in parts he's got in the additional $220k he's charging, and that's how much he makes on one car. Then labor, but whatever.

That car is way over priced. Definitely made for those who have more money than brains. Unless I missed something, there was nothing mention to what was done to the drive train behind that engine to handle that kind of HP. I can see it now, less than 10 good launches and BOOM! Back to the shop, tell the idiot, well you need this and that and....... money pit with no reliability at all I bet. |

The 12 upcoming owners more than likely already have done that, which would be why they can afford to drop a little (to them) on the car. I drive a $2k dollar truck though so who am I to have an opinion... That being said I think its a cool car. Wouldnt buy one though even if I could. Thats too much for any auto IMHO.

I would rather buy a Murcielago and put on a $129,000 engine package from underground racing. Can anyone say 1300whp?
