I wish I could remember 9/12 for Kabul being hydrogen bombed. Bush blew it. That would have solved it right there. When a bully tries to terrorize you on the playground...... You walk up & break his nose & kick the crap out of him. I will never forget 9/11/2001. Thats the day America died & the terrorists won. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/...88A11N20120911 & we do nothing. Here is some proof of our lack of a Nation. Anybody ever see this?? BOATLIFT, An Untold Tale of 9/11 Resilience - YouTube Nearly 500K people rescued / transported from Manhattan by boats – in less than 9 hours. It is the largest marine rescue / evacuation in history. To put it into perspective – the Rescue of Dunkirk in WWII was 300K people over 9 days…. |

I disagree, We came together as One Nation Under God and we all pulled together to help one another. I have never felt so helpless in all my life being half a country away as this all happend. and can remember thinking that my divorce seems so insignificant compared to this. Almost six years later I decided to join the Army.

Anyone heard this crap about how it's all a conspiracy and it was all really planned by our own government. People are way to ignorant. I can't beleive people would even think that.

I sat with my aunt that morning as she watched her fellow flight attendant friends fly into the towers. She wasn't flying that day. I can only imagine how different my life would be without her. You can see the footage on the news and remember where you were, like we all did. But one of the most moving things ever was seeing a card she received with a picture of her friend sitting on her mantle with the dates x/xx/xx-9/11/2001. Never forget, and always remember those that are serving right now to make sure this NEVER happens again.

I was in Philly last month and stopped by the Philadelphia Fireman's Hall Museum and they had a really amazing 9/11 display. I was lost for words when I saw real items from the Twin Towers, like ashes and fire truck doors. It was just heart breaking. My heart goes out to all the families and friends that were affected. |

I was in a job site ~5 miles from the WTC that morning. I didn't know the towers fell until later in the day, radio, etc. was sparse due to the towers being gone. For a few months, I was reminded every morning on the way to work since I went over a mountain and was looking at the smoke rising from the site~20 miles from me. Our town lost a few that day (in NYC) as did other towns in NY, NJ & CT. I spent some time there on the dig out....not real fun, but my small part. RIP to those that were lost, condolences to those that lost someone. |

I was on top of a roof tearing the sheeting off when I heard a plane had flown into the first tower. Minutes later I heard that a second had hit. I jumped down and ran into the owner's house and spent the rest of the day watching the chaos unfold. I can remember the anger that washed over me and the sadness I felt for those directly affected. I will not forget that day.

Like most horrific human tragedies instigated by humans, I remember what happened, where I was, and the overwhelming disgust I had for derelict humans that occupy earth. My earliest recollection: 5th grade: JFK assassination. Ms. Kemp's class (11.22.63). |
