Default ATTN. RCKJeep

Few pics for ya RCKJeep Ran 6-7 packs through the truck today on the rocks. You said awhile back you wanted to see my pretty parts on my truck all munched up. Well, here is a start Since I've taken the maiden voyage I feel better about gettin' a little rock rash.

Good one Dave, I like that............I rubbed it on gravel. LOL Actually spent most of the day (was 71 degrees here today) rearranging my pile 'o' rocks and making test runs. Thanks to all of the folks that helped in the building of this truck. Badger, Grizzly, RCKJeep, and many many others are great helpers. Very pleased with the truck's preformance, it goes over just about anything. Next project will be to lower it a bit and convert to a shock set up like other TXT folks run such as Badger and RCKJeep. Was like a little kid (I am 30) out there playing with me truck all day. Spent 4 hours outside playing, least that is what the wife told me. She even came out and gave it a shot at running the course. She decided it was too tough and it needed to be rearranged so SHE could run it. Actually hoping she gets into it so I can justify another crawler

Its gettin there. Nice to see you using it finally.

But this is just sad. Poor little skid plate didn't even get to show how tuff it is.

Actually RSi if he slides some female over the male and allow just enough room for susp. travel it should be fine. I've run maxx sliders for months and haven't twisted one yet. And don't tell me my truck doesn't get used.

yes you can go with out twisting them 2 ways have alot of female over hte male thus inhasing the strength but by doing so you sacrifice wheelbase if i am not mistaken.... is there another way to do it without scrificing wheel base??? and 2 just driving like a sissy

The sliders did not seem to work that well for me. :? Little buggers would twist just about every time I went out.

I haven't had any troubles with the Maxx 2.5 shafts. Even got the truck wedged pretty good a few times and loaded it up under throttle, no twisty yet. Was planning on spending a couple of hours playin' today but it is raining here. Did however shoot some pictures of my the rocks I fiddle around on. They aren't much, been dragging them home from my neighbor's backyard. Nothing fancy, I just make a run one way trying to keep a imaginary line and then come back the opposite way. Keeps me entertained. No worries guys, got the truck all cleaned up last nite Couldn't seem to clean the scratches off though :?

Ya you take another female shaft cut it and and cover the exposed male portion. You could probably go as long as a 16.5" WB though it would add leverage.
