Celebratory gunfire is illegal pretty much everywhere. Maryland has fairly strict gun laws compared to many states and does not like to issue CC permits. Depsite that you are better off walking through downtown Baghdad at night than downtown Baltimore at night. Same with Washington DC, which has even more strict gun laws and bans.

How do you explain the millions of minorities that are elected officials, business owners and otherwise successful working Americans. People like you would rather make a bullshit excuse for someones behavior or social status then the truthful unPC reality of it. Life and the American dream are what you make of it. There are countless examples of people rising from extreme poverty and making a good life for themselves. It doesn't matter if they are famous or just an average Joe who gets up and goes to work every morning, they are still successful. What they did differently that got them there is simple. They worked hard, believed in themselves, made positive life choices and most importantly they didn't buy into the hippie-dippie bs that they couldn't be anything more then what they are.

i have for the most part tried to stay out of these discusions because im a canukastanian, i will say i enjoy shooting and was very good when i was younger, my father was a gunsmith in his latter years and i still have his tools..i am not anti gun i grew up with them and have respect for them

Earlier today I saw a snippet for upcoming news. They mentioned a robbery at a salon(I think it was), the robber had a gun hidden in a guitar case. I think we better ban guitar cases so the criminals don't have a way of hiding their guns...

Harry Reid put a section into Obamacare that prevents the collection of info on legal guns and ammo to be used in relation to healthcare. Some are taking it as no data collection what so ever. Wonder now that this has been discovered how long it will take to be removed or Reid backtrack on how he felt when he put it in.

with Obumers track record, I predict he will make some PO that says states have to come up with a Gun owners registration (Like IL has) that will be required to purchase guns and ammo (because we know that's how criminals get their guns and ammo). Prolly include mandatory background checks for all states and making person to person sales a pita.

Basically, stuff that will tick honest people off but really do nothing more than make the process of buying/selling for honest people a little harder.

though he is not running for reelection, the rest of the Dems are. Therefore, he doesn't want to tick off too many voters or his party will be essentially killed off for a good decade.
