BTW, when is it that we can start turning in people who we know to be crazy to the government? There are a few here on my list...

| Re: Fwck gun control Once having doctors and psychiatrists turn in people fails then citizens turning in family members and neighbors is the next logical step. Since that will fail they will have no choice, for the safety of the children, to pull people off the street for random "health screenings". Maybe those who don't pass the "you might commit a crime in the future test" could be kept in special camps away from the normals.

Yeah this ia bunch of BS. My guns havent done anything but hurt paper targets. Always hate the rule of thumb to punish the many responsible people because of the mistakes of the few. ><

Though I would say we need improved laws that target offenders instead of wide, sweeping laws that target everyone. I would be totally fine with having to take a gun safety class before I could purchase a weapon, and also be totally fine with having to renew it every so often. I would also be totally fine with having to take a certification class based on the type of weapon I want to own. I would also be totally fine with not being allowed to purchase ammunition unless I have passed those classes. It seems to me that responsibility is the problem here, more than anything.

The Second Amendment does not require you to ask permission. To ask someone to "allow" you to keep your rights. They are yours, and our Founders made it clear that no one shall infringe upon them. The gun grabbers would have you believe that a right is the same as a privlilege. Driving is a privilege, and you have to have a license to drive and register your car. But a right is not dependent on asking the state's permission for some form of license. It was there before there was any state. It is your and yours alone! I'm all for gun safety and voluntary training courses. Anything that becomes a requirement or gives the government the authority to deny you your rights because you oppose such requirements is nothing more than surrendering your rights.

Sounds like a second job just trying to keep certified . Ammo, really. I took a gun safety course when my son got his hunting license in Arkansas, I was'nt required to take it , I just did it with my boy. Quote:

Most of the violent crime committed in the US takes place in large metropolitan areas with population's above 250 thousand. Most of those cities have stringent gun laws in place. Most of those cities are or have been under Democratic control for decades. Explain to me again how implementing these polices Nationwide is a good thing? I'll keep my God and my guns, you can keep the change. |

It has nothing to do with guns, if you could get rid of all the guns in Detroit (legal and illegal), people would find something else - knives, bats, pipes..etc
