Yea! I gave up on "Pro" sports about 10 years ago.:-( There is no heart left in the modern professional athlete (there are a few exceptions). It's all about the money! Loyalty, fans, and tradition don't mean anything to them. Just pay me so I can act like a thug and get some more bling. I prefer college ball. |

i like them both, plus i have the good fortune of being a very loyal steeler fan, and fom what i have seen through the years, most players with the steeler organization seem to be of a different kind, always loyal to there fans, and just happy to be playing a game that they love...

I was (am) a Cowboys fan. And they have had some great players like Emmit Smith and Troy Aikman. But we also had Micheal Irvin and we now have that A S S B A G T.O. He is the model example of what I'm referring to. |

i am in 100% agreement about T.O. don't get me wrong steelers have had a few of those kind, but it just doesn't seem to be as frequent and i feel the last few seasons, pittsburgh has been a prime example of how a true high class players should behave, naming prime examples of: jerome bettis hines ward and even though he messed up a bit with his whole motorcycle wreck this summer, ben rothlisberger... and of course bill cower... which is easily going to end up being in the top 10 all time great NFL coaches.... |
