Default Regional Section?

most forums have a regional section..
i think it would be a great addition here at RCC
if this is supposed to be "your #1 rccrawling source" i think its a shame to have to go to another forum to check out local events and chat with local enthusiasts. and then come back here to post up builds, questions etc. (even though yes most EVENTS are posted here) it would be great to have a place to post and hang out "locally" here.

i think a regional section with all the official clubs would be great.

Cmrcrc, WARCRC, TXRCRCA, The Cleveland Crawlers, ETC.

is this something that could be added?
what does everyone else think? most other forums have it and i think its great.

IMO I think it would work better on this site http://www.usrcca.com/ and have a link on RCC to the USRCCA. Keeping this site simpler so to speak.
And USRCCA has links to the participating clubs.

I'd like to know what Jason thinks about it.

CMRCRC and several of the other crawling orgs. have their own web sites for local chat, info, builds, announcements, ect....

As Dez said, most every club has their own site. The USRCCA website is not finished and have every club up to date, but you can find their websites on there also

We have two forums for exactly that, Competitions and Get Togethers.

well if you have to go else where for rc crawling things, then how can this be the "#1 source"

i knew id get shot down (even though it would be a great addition) since im not part of the 5-10 core people here that call each other every night and tuck one another in...
o well just trying to help improve RCC

IMO, each org. having it's own site, and then having RCC as the Central RC Crawling base works out really well.

There is already a section for comps and GTGs, why do we need a Regional section?

Just trying to understand the need?

Is there any way to find out if there are other members in your area, other than hoping they check the GTG forum?

It just seems like there should be a better way.

I would first check this forum http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/competition-results/

then do a search in the member list, then the get togethers.
