Just a friendly reminder

I just recently made a deal with another member on the site the members name was crawlerlover. I had a previous deal with them before everything went smooth as butter however this time it's different. We made a deal to trade two scx10. my custom one for their custom 1. This was around April 1st. I promptly shipped out my end of the deal with tracking and insurance, texted copy of the receipt to them. We have exchanged several messages back and forth and now I get nothing from them I'm just being ignored. To this day I still have not received my part of the trade which was an scx10 with custom xr modifications to it. They will not respond to any of my requests. They just will not respond. All I want is communication between me and them. I don't think this is too much to ask for do you?

Conveniently between this site and another site they have listed the scx10 for sale that I had sent to them and have not received the vehicle they supposedly sent me.

So the point of this thread is to make you aware that there are people still out there doing shady deals refusing to communicate refusing to give tracking numbers do yourself a favor since I am ultimately screwed make sure that you trust the deal that the communication is strong between you and the other person. Make sure you get tracking numbers put stipulations on it if you're not sure of the deal just don't do it.

Let my experience of learning the hard way be a teaching aid for you in your future dealings.

Shouldn't this be in the feedback section.

He has a feedback thread. I assume he wants discussion on the matter and the feedback section is solely for feedback on a deal completed here to be posted on only by the two parties involved or another person with directly related recent feedback pertaining to the deal.

I commend him for keeping the "discussion" part of things here and not in feedback"thumbsup"

As far as I can see the bad feedback on this scum was posted by another user.

That's because I'm still holding out hope. But I did comment on his too.

It is perfectly OK to post bad feedback about a deal in another members bad feedback thread that is already open.

I actually encourage it. If a person has 5 bad deals and all 5 bad feedbacks are separate threads one may possibly get missed. If the details from each bad feedback cross over and show up from different people in the same thread about the same person it surely helps make members aware of how many bad deals that member actually has done.

Hell yeah burn this fool, now crawlerlover is off and runnin stating that he is actually 97GMCTRUCK on Pirate4x4.com, saying I hope I dont get banned and re-posted the truck for sale.
(Round of Applause for the idiot of the day...!!)
Other forum members there have figured out that it is not actually 97GMCTRUCK. (Cause hes still here)

There is a user on RCC named "crawlerlover" who has posted several things for sale and has since been banned from the classifieds for ripping people off. This crawlerlover name on RCC, and the 97gmctruck name on Pirate both post pics from the same photobucket account.

It now appears that he is here on Pirate trying to sell the same crawler here.

Crazy thing is the screen name he is using here is the screen name of the guy he ripped off on RCC.

Im confused by these types of issues. They BLATANTLY stole hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from you. Had they taken it outta your garage or the back of your car, the police would get involved & a theft charge would follow. You shipped your rig to a physical address. How can they just get away with it? Have you called their local PD? That woulda been my 1st course of action. I find it VERY hard to believe that our nations coppers will stand by while good people get jacked by chumps like these.

Id say start searching for members that live close by to hand out a little "justice" but that would be wrong. Shame on me

Best of luck man. Im the type that would gladly waste hundreds on a flight to track this punk down but my 3rd grade teacher told me violence never solved anything. :flipoff:

Looks like the truck is in FL. I guess 97 now has special powers to zap himself all the way there when he was at my house on SATURDAY.

Send a mod over there a message saying he is selling stolen merchandise and include a link to here.

Well I just got off the phone with the West Virginia Police Department I should say Sheriff's Department and basically there was no written legal document documenting the trade basically I'm s.o.l it is extremely sad and disappointing the fact that we try to do what's right every single day and we end up dealing with stuff like this. . :(

You have an address that you sent it to, and surely there is an RCC member within 30 minutes of this, more than likely, kid. If it was only a half hour from me I'd go knock on the door for you.

jason has been on there from what I read. Crazy situation for sure. I bet some IP address research will nail the double identity thingy down.
