I would like to see Road America added to the list of tracks. I love racing that one on Shift.

This should be good, I love gt5 and am probably nuts about it but. No one sounds more nuts about it than EeePee. Can't wait.

if gt would would let ya customize the cars like you could in grid, along with the car damage from shift... it'd be perfect imo.

What all can you do in Grid? The only thing that I wish gt5 had was more wheel fitment options such as staggered sizes and different offsets.

its been long enough since ive played it i forget exactly, but you can just do little personal things like paint schemes/designs, sponsor stickers, i think you can make the wheels look fatter, etc.

it just adds another level to the game, and the cars become more personal. in grid i made my cars all have the mad max yellow, blue, & red paint stripe scheme.

looks like grid2 has it as well.

For about twenty minutes last night I was the fastest in the world on the new Seasonal race, the Formula Turismo on Monaco (Cote d'Azur). I got the picture to prove it but its at home. Second time I've been on top for a short while.

I still never bought 5. I liked 4 a lot, aside from the Rally races, the dynamics on them were to funky.

What the best car for a n00b to practice drifting in gt5? I have quite a few rwd cars, but I want to know what you bungholes think.

Yellowbird ?

I am biased so I use my fully built cobra r but to really get points I use a fully built 3000gt awd to really rack up some points!

Awesome..I was an Aviiid drifter 'till my ps3 died. I'd say best start out car to learn to drift with would be a low hp setup 300-360hp, comfort hards, no chassis stiffner, and keep your anti roll low, that way you can toss the weight around and get used to the feel, then just start screwing with your tunes 'till your comfy. (the nissan s13 from new dealer is good to start with)

gt6..on ps3...hmmm, anyone selling a used ps3? time to replace mine! haha

Hard to see because of the iPod Touch camera and my 8 pixel per inch blurmeister 2000 TV.

First and second pic is Deep Forest TT, third pic is Monaco. You can see the water under the thing.

Go to the Seasonal Events and do one of their Drift Events. They'll kinda spec out a car for you and definitely use Comfort Hard tires (CH). The Seasonal Drifts are good to learn exactly how they want you to drift, or maybe exactly what you should be doing for a drift to actually be drifting, and not just peeling out.

Will do. The biggest issue with my "drifting" in it's current state is my steering. It seems to be very easy to over-compensate with the regular ps3 controller.

Using the stick I assume? I use both sticks, the right one for gas and brake. But you can turn down the sensitivity like a woman, or practice and learn like an intelligent man.

I just noticed the drifts are tied to the time trials, so you can only do the most current. But in the most current one is a Subaru event. Good as any place to start. Switch tires to comfort hards (CH).

Yep, both sticks. I had no clue that you could turn down the sensitivity. I'll continue playing GT5 like a man.

12 tries with an '07 WRX STi with stage 3 turbo and CH tires. Gold.

I tried it stock but it didn't have the power at the needed high speeds at the High Speed Ring.

There's guys that crank the camber full negative so less of the tire is on the ground. I usually run all my cars stock in all the events. They retain their unique personality that way. Once you start tweaking I feel everything is about the same.

I was wondering if that 1:1 camber trend carried over into the video game. Now if you could stretch tires...
I have a big boy Aristo sitting at full negative... that's my VIP car. I might tune that one up and try to drift it.

I'm also at level 40 A-Spec, having done none of the Enduro races. And practically stuck at 20,000,000 with nothing to spend it on cause the other cars are crap.

B-Spec I'm at 32 I think. Meh. Lame really. Hope that's omitted from GT6.
