I'll take an "Audi" drive train any day if it's in a Lambo. The only Peeple (get it?) that complain about Audi parts on a Lamborghini are those that can't afford them.

thats what im saying. i was using the fact that kfc/tacobell/pizza hut are all owned by the same company now and their 'food' really isnt like it was when they were seperate companies.

Who cares? Are you a tree hugger? VW isn't the only one doing that. Somebody in the EPA probably didn't get kickback to look the other way so the went after VW as payback.

We have a Pizza **** and Taco Bell right next to each other. They don't share a building or roof. In fact, I've never seen those two share a building. I have seen KFC and TB and share building. Maybe it's a regional thing. Our Taco Hell doesn't have a KFC. In fact, our Taco Hell was a KFC. I wish KFC was still there.

Parts bin engineering has been around for a long, long. And the sum of the parts are not always equal.

Different isn't bad. Lambo is as good as ever. They have become more civilized, but I wouldn't say that's a bad thing. My childhood dream, a Countach, is notorious for being a dream ruiner. They look pretty, but apparently are a POS to drive. Change isn't always bad.

So you've sat and drove both Audis? I meant Audi and Lambo. I haven't but I've read and watched plenty to know the Lambo is a dressed up Audi. Sum of the parts? It's an Audi. Look underneath. Look at the engine. Suspension. Drivetrain. Everything but the interior and sheet metal.

So it's a camouflaged Audi. A freeking FAST Audi. It holds the production car lap record at the track. How long until Porsche shows up with a 'works' 918 to grab the title back? I'll admit I don''t follow everything that goes on at that track but it's always been a historic place to start epic pissing contests between high-end manufacturers.
