Not always, some are made to not have a backflow valve so that they completely drain down, makes changes easy and relatively clean. The worst are the side mounts, especially if they are right over the starter.

Every single car made should have a remote mount oil filter.

That mustang should get good gas mileage with a ten speed. Not that i would buy a Mustang for good gas mileage.... not that I'd buy a mustang....

Jeez. That's like 6 wild crazy boars ready to kill. Or something. That's awesome.

Beautiful car.

2.3 liter and a 10 speed auto? Developed with GM?

10 speed crazy, yes. Ford small displacement turbo, not so crazy.
I am a Chevy guy but, I've rode in an old school four banger, turbo, Thunder Bird as well as a SVT, four banger, turbo Mustang. Both cats kicked ass. Ford Cosworths are pretty badass as well. New technology, I bet a 10 speed turbo Mustang might be fun.

Cosworths are cool.

My memories of the turbo chicken may have been affected by the female owner that let me drive it. That was a fun car.

The guy I knew that had the turbo stang traded a 5.0 gt for it. The turbo car handled like it was on rails. Fun car.

Stocks photos but, Ford may build something cool. Turbos are always cool.

I had a mustang SVO that my dad gave me. It was an awesome car, one of the few cars I wish I still had. It got stolen in Stockton years and years ago. But man was it a fun car to drive.

Raced with a guy that had a SVO turbo 4 Mustang. It was tough for him cause the car's boost came on too late and strong. Whatevs, never liked the car anyways.

Aight, bros. school me on that PPRE 6 Rotor thing. I watched a couple videos of it spitting, coughing and revving the throttle. What gives? Sounds pretty mean but I didn't see anything that showed what's it's supposed to do.

In the past people took two 2 rotor Mazda rotaries and mated them together to make a single 4 rotor motor. They were sweet. Here you have someone who took two 3 rotor Mazda rotaries and mated them together. That's about all the significance other than how it sounds and power output.

Gotcha, I figured it was something in the engineering. I'm still searching for a full pull run of this car on YouTube.

that's all rotarys ever do. I remember them at the drag strip when I was still heavy into the scene, they would sit in the pits reving to 24,0000,00000 rpms for like 30 minutes at a time annoying everyone and then go out and spit, backfire and have to lift at the 330 mark.
I just never got it. they were always like a crotch rocket on the rev limiter with flame throwers that could never make a pass.

that being said the FD is still one of my favorite cars of all time
