I wonder if that's factory glass in the front and rear.
Probably a long short throw shifter or a shifter extender. The goal is to put the knob closer to the steering wheel so your hand is not off the wheel for long while shifting on the track. Had an extender in my old honda and liked it alot. Miss that car.

That was the absolute best possible ending for that jump.

I bet there were all sorts of nice broken bits under neath it. A friend in high school launched his nicely built eclipse gsx and pancaked it from about 5' elevation over a 50' distance and all 4 corners were busted. Not sure if it was A arms or what but all 4 tires all flopped around as it was being drug back onto the road.

6 cylinder triple su carbs , 3 speed COLUMN shift with drum brakes all round
he removed the numbers and painted it a lovely beige colour and got it registered and used it as his daily driver
couple of months later we did a track day at our local track ( Lakeside raceway )
Funniest thing i,ve ever seen watching him passing Porsches under brakes and round the outside of em thru the corners.
20 minute session and he lapped the whole field
He raced formula fords and was a very good steerer though

^^ for the life of me I don't understand why people sit on the outside of a turn in a rally event or any racing for that matter. All are lucky to be alive.

the lateral grip on this car is impressive. especially on cold tires and a dusty track. you really see it the first few corners before the hand braking.

Bad ass rides. CVK prides himself on having a non-hybrid car because it hinders performance or something like that. All right mate, put the One:1where your mouth is and let's see it vs these.
