| Irish Whiskey Fans?
Sitting here wishing I had a nice Irish Whiskey or maybe some Makers Mark on ice. As I am packing for a cross country move, I dumped the cheap stuff. What are some good Irish Whiskeys available in the U.S.? Most of what I drank was in Europe, the Sudan and Kenya. The English expatriates always had the good stuff over there. They introduced me to Kilbeggan and Inishowen (when I bought my own it was Bushmills or Jamisons). |

I have always been a fan of Jamison's, and they make a high doller version that is truly worth the cash, but I have only done that once.

My mom brought back some 12 year Jameson's from Ireland a few years ago...that stuff was pretty darn good. |

Reviving this one. I have found myself almost exclusively drinking Makers '46. I am also a bit of a coffee fan and though I prefer Blue Mountain, it is out of my reach on my retirement funds, I found this Maker's Mark Gourmet Bourbon Flavored Coffee Ground. Always liked a little bourbon in my coffee but this gives you the flavor without the alcohol. Add a Java Cigar and I am good to go. When I get back to work again, I want to check out some of the small batch bourbon distillers. |

Isn't Jack from Ireland? You know, Mr. Daniels? Or is that Mr. Bojangles?

A good ole single malt Scotch and a fine cigar. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that when ya want to relax. |
