Your hobby shops suck mine meets tower and since they don't charge shipping it's cheaper to go there. Oh and The HILift I bought at the LHS was $359.99

Yeah, the hobby shop here is horrible. I see tower marked the F-350 down a little to $399, - the $20 for orders of $199, so its $379 with free shipping because I have the super saver club membership, so It would be about the same as if I could buy it from your hobbyshop after taxes.

I need to quit trying to talk myelf into buying one yet. I already started collecting parts for it. I gotta buy people Christmas presents first.....

I would just as soon go to through tower.LHS's around here skyrocket the prices most of the time. Besides, there really isn't a LHS close to me.. closest one mainly only deals in planes.. They order through Tower and charge me the same price, but knock off the shipping.. so if I order through Tower, I just go to them...

I wonder if Tower calculates shipping on where you live. My standard shipping is $3.99, I just did a test order and it was still $3.99.

$3.99 is for items that qualify for parts express shipping.

Plus, once you become a regular customer they will throw you a bone once in a while to save you some money.
The LHS I buy from is a 1:8 scale Nitro shop so they have absolutely nothing I need everytime I go in there. But, he is more then willing to order my parts and gives me a discount everytime I purchase from him, almost always at better prices then Tower.

I used to place large orders from Tower all the time, now that I only buy from my LHS's it does make me feel better by supporting them.

Oh and my LHS's are about mile or two from both my house and work.

You can always get a Paypal debit card and use that either on-line or at your LHS. Nothing comes out of your bank account unless you use it for back up funding of Paypal, and your Paypal balance is not enough to cover your purchase.
