Default Job Interview

I interviewed for a job today, hoping to start my 3rd career. It ended up a 2.5 hour interview and they then invited me to tour their Data Center next week. From the feedback and the questions, it looks like they will make an offer in the next couple weeks.

Cool cool. Good luck.

Thinking about sending a thank you letter to your interviewers? I got one of my first professional jobs because I was the only one out of several candidates that sent a thank you letter. That's what the guy that hired me said was one of the main reasons I was hired. Set me apart from the others.

Congrats on the interview, as stated above ^ I personally sent a thank you letter a couple days after my initial interview... Well long story short I got a call last week and they made me a good offer $ wise and offered the position I applied for, it will be a great career move on my part and I start December 2nd!

Best wishes and hopefully they will call you and make you a good offer.

They called me in last week for an interview with their Director of Infrastructure. They have had me do 3 skill assessments, 1 behaviors assessment and 1 judgement assessment. Now I just got a call asking me to meet with the Director again then to interview with 2 EVPs.

I believe this is all positive but man it is taking forever. A nice thing about this job is that it pays the same as the job I retired from last year in Chicago even though it is in Jackson, MS.

It is positive, its a lot of time and effort to waste on a candidate that they arent seriously considering for a position - this is for a networking position im assuming?

I just finished my teaching credential and I have to get a job now. I'm already nervous enough when talking to administration. I don't know what it's going to be like in an interview?

Well that all sounds like great news. If a company want to take that much interest into you seams they are pretty sure your the guy.

Good luck

After 6 weeks of interviewing and negotiating, I got an offer today and accepted it. Very good salary with a small commission, big car allowance, phone allowance and good benefits. I start Tuesday.

Stress is just a character builder, lol.

I am looking forward to a new career. Retirement did not appeal to me.
