Default Rubicon Trail run - 10 Oct 06

Just had to post up some pictures from our wheeling trip to the Rubicon on 10 Oct 06. It was the first run in the Tube-Slinky which was a total success. Although I didn't attempt the Sluice this early on in testing the rig out, I was able to clean the the Soup Bowl fairly easy which was nice.

Here are all the pics and some selected shots:

Tube-Slinky coming up through the Soup Bowl. Note the mini-crawler in tow on the roof of the rig.

Wilson getting twisted in the box. Those are 42s coming at you!!

Tracking a bear, ~250+ pounds based on some fresh impressions we found. This was a branch he/she was gnawing on. I took a taste to see what all the excitement was. Not tasty at all.

In the words of Forrest Gump, "That's all I gotta say about that."

Are you kidding, I was licking that rig up and down throughout that trip. My tounge has never been so tired before..... well.... maybe not .

Thanks again for the compliments on the rig. We have our next Nor-Cal competition next weekend over at Hollister Hills OHV park (home for Top Truck Challenge), so I can't wait to play with it some more over there. Hopefully they didn't mellow out the mini-Rubicon any.

Super cool man!

Hey uh, how does a carbed rotary do in that application? Do you have to spin it fast?
