Default just myself a new toy!

financed a sweetass 2011 Genesis SpecR 3.8L V6

Brembo brakes
19in. alloy rims
Leather interior

0-60mph 5.9sec
1/4mi @ 14.3sec

its the only one in Canada to my knowledge as this is an american model. Guages are all in MPH and the mileage in this car is 17,000miles. (approx 27,000 km).

Canadians, please take all our Hyundais and Kias away from here. They're like rats running rampant.

"I sold my car cause this Hyundai has all the same stuff but it's half the price."

Well, good luck.

Probably the best Hyundai model out there, so enjoy it.

Nice ride! Just wondering if you had any issues with getting it through a safety inspection or anything like that because it has Imperial instrumentation instead of metric. I know here it's the complete opposite, full metric cars need to be converted into the imperial measurements and, in my opinion, degraded to the DOT style of bumpers and things like that.

In the mid 90s I drove a EU model BMW 528 with nothing I could understand. I was glad the hot and cold setting for the air had blue and red indications.

In Ohio.

so....for the first time after buying this ride, i decide to check things out and see what its all about. Looking under the hood 1st to check my fluids...

Brake fluid...check!
Rad fluid...check!
Rad overflow...check!
Washer fluid...check!
Oil...check!

get to the part where i check my clutch fluid...not so check! wtf right? lol
do some research to find that they use the master brake fluid and clutch fluid under the same unit. haha!

other then that this is one clean machine!

My car is the same thing for brake/clutch fluid. Which also reminds me I need to bleed my entire system in a couple months...

Nice car though, there's a couple R-Spec's here on the East Coast, but they're the 2.0's. Also, I find this model year looks wayyyyy better than the newest offering...

Yikes, I just looked up what the new front end looks like, that front end is pretty bad compared to this car. I do like the hood vents though!

the first few things on my wishlist in order:

Laser detector.
Window tint.
Grille - Open mouth, No badging.
SRI.
1" lowering kit, Bushings and Adj. upper suspension arms.
Carbon hood.
Exhaust system.

For the sound system...dont wanna go too crazy but simply adding a bit of thump in the trunk. Not sure yet what ill run but it will
prob run x2 10" subs and amplifier running off the OEM headunit.
