Default My twin hammer review

So I've had this twin hammer on my mind for almost two weeks now and was serious debating getting one shipped on payday. And I was in the one local rc we got in town as I'm very far northern Canada and was buying some parts for another rc and found this one there for $350 on sale scooped it up ripped her around. So far I love this thing it is off the hook and runs and jumps very well and when you hit the second speed she's gone. And for a stock RTR rc it has good all round speed for a brushed motor and seems to be pretty solid as I've rolled it a ton of times Already and it seems to enjoy the bashing imaging on it. I ordered a mamba brushless high speed motor & ESC system for it and can't wait. I really like that there are a ton of carbon parts for it. I purschased a few today will have on soon and am gonna order more upgrades ASAP.
The things I don't like about this unit is the wheels seems to wobble a lot and the battery is very small and lasts 10 min and very little room for bigger battery. :( and you cannot remove the battery tray to make room for a bigger batt either as it is part of the back end frame.
So I stripped the back spare tire off it and bought wire adapters for my 5000 mah lipos and zapstrapped on in and put a case on the outside as it atuo is out a bit and don't wanna damage it or explode the battery on impact as this beast likes to flip easy. And the fact that it don't corner to well without flipping and that's about it for the dislikes. And all are an easy fix with a little cash on payday.

So I removed the driver and the roof pannel for space to stuff my big batts in.
And as well I marine greased all the gears.

I'm very happy with this unit every thing about it feels quality about it and Avery bright and detailed instruction book. Also all the parts feel pretty solid as well and this unit is gonna remain in my collections for years to come.

Doing a glowing review the first day of ownership isn't proving anything to anyone. Go beat on it for a few weeks then come back to this thread when the steering rack turns to shit, the front axles won't stay in one piece and the servo's puke. Then you can do a real review.

Your batting average is dropping like this thread is gonna be. This is chit chat, not unboxing and passing judgement thread. If you're going to post up stuff, placement is everything. Post this in "Scale Rigs Brand Specific Tech " forum under Twin Hammer. Not here, Less Thou be Judged.

Just burn the box down around the kit. That's how I would do it if I was you.

I also have two hammers at home, both different color, size and manufacturer, so nope, they are not twins:sly:
