I can help you with this question. There are plenty of places to find inexpensive around three to four hundred dollar electric skateboards online but you are going to want stay away from them. There's a company called altered that is sold through Sport Chalet now that is in the $600 price range that comes with a quality motor and quality electronics you also have a1 year warranty through Sport Chalet if anything is to happen to it. I have a couple of electric skateboards and I've had one since they came out in 1996. By far the best to electric skateboards would be altered skateboards e glide skateboards both are located in California. There are also company's that produce a higher technology skateboard that runs on our RC motors and lithium batteries these companies are boosted boards and a DIY setup is Red Rock boardshop which I personally use. Any specific questions you have I will be more than happy to ask I've got almost 20 years experience with these things. To me there a rather large investment and if you buy the wrong one you could buy a huge pile of crap.
