I can sympathize, I have 6 screws and a rod (all titanium) in my right ankle. Never been the same since July 2005. Get better soon. Consider therapy, as I didn't do it and I absolutely have limited movement with my right ankle. |

Definately take the therapy if any is offered. I fell from 4ft when a joist let go on a deck we were framing and the left ankles never been right since. I didnt even go to seek any attention, just manned up and went to work the next day thinking it would be ok. Its healed, but healed fawked up. Not the smartest move on my part. Definitely pursue rehab as soon as you can. I broke my collarbone, shoulder, left arm, cracked shin, and neck (not too bad) in a motorcycle wreck twenty years ago. I begged them to get me out of the hospital as soon as possible and started rehab less than a week later. It hurt like hell and they said they were surprised by my progress in such a short time. Only eight days after my wreck, I was released. This happened in mid October and my goal was to be on Skis by the new year. I worked my ass off and celebrated New Year's Day on the slopes. Shortly after, I got my job back that required me to be physically fit and work hard every day. I hurt every day, but eventually I got back to where I was beforehand and then some. Two decades later, and no ill effects from that terrible night. Just keep your head up, your teeth gritted, and fight through whatever comes! The harder you work, the more it will pay off in the long run! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
