Custom gopro mount help

I'm making a custom gopro mount for a gtg this weekend and I need some help with placement. I don't know if I should place it in front of the grill or if I should like a bumper on the rear and have it looking forward. I have enough material for both, I just need help deciding which would look best.

Make both and get different angles of video, heck I'd make another somewhere on the fender for more angles.

What kind of event? RC? Or 1:1?

The best view is putting it on the rig behind you "thumbsup"

It's a Rc gtg. I don't want to stick anything to the body it's self or drill holes in it. More holes=more places for cracks to appear.

Hahaha, I'm not putting a $400 gopro on some one else's rig. They might drive off with it.

Any ways, I got the front mount made. Going to make the rear tomorrow. Which do you guys think would give me better footage, front or rear?

Go on YouTube and look at videos, To see what YOU like and put your camera there.
I like when there is a view of the vehicle to see as it goes up and over the rocks. Otherwise your just going to see a cam going up and down. Or you'll be making a video of the truck in front if you or the truck behind you, which is why he said to mount it on the truck behind you, so we can see your truck in action.

The camera will be facing forward no matter where I put it. I'll probably just mount it on the rear so you can see the truck as well as the trail.

you gotta see a little of the truck or else its just a camera bouncing around.

So, mounted on the back sounds like it will be the best sport for getting decent video. Now I just have to figure out how to get it mounted with out cutting up the rear of the body.:???: This is going to be fun. Hacksaws and hammers are always fun to play with.
