I'm a massive sucker for alternate/alternative history and sci-fi in general and today I finally added a Haunebu 2 to my collection. (Revell)

Happy, happy, joy, joy.

^^^ This is the kind of thing that makes me want to get back into doing models again. That AMT is just bad as can be.

Here's a few pics of the AMT/ERTL Plymouth Prowler Concept Car SnapFast kit that I built back on the 90's with the wheels and tires off of the recent Round 2/AMT reissue of the same kit.

There are a colors the new kit is molded in are nothing like the original kit

Right down to the wheels, the original AMT/ERTL wheels and tires are the ones lose from the bar and are more of a silver vs the gunmetal-ish color the new kit's wheels are molded in.

Think when I get around to building the new kit, those front fenders are coming off after seeing that gap

I built this some years ago with a couple kits I had parts from. The main kit was a '55 Chevy step side if I'm not mistaken.
I took the tires and wheels from a GMC truck kit. The motor and rollbar lightbar combo comes from a USA1 kit. The scoop comes from a dodge challenger kit I believe and the decals are from the 68 Pontiac firebird kit.

Here's another one I built years ago. It started as a 77 Jeep Renegade. I took the wheels tires and motor from a USA1 kit. I slapped them up and under this tiny jeep just to see what it would look like. And to me, it turned out pretty cool.

If you're talking to me. It's not a drop top. It's painted flat white just like the old race cars were.

Here's another one I had a lot of fun building. It's the '55 Jukebox Ford. I tried to do some detail work on this one but I didn't do all I wanted to. See I take some meds. that makes my hands shake really bad. So it's hard to do stuff like this anymore. Sometimes it'll take me 2 weeks to do a model because I have to wait for my hands to give me a window to work on stuff. But anyway. One the motor I took some 3000 grit sandpaper to the tunnel ram and valve covers to give them a dull look. More like aluminum. You can tell the difference between the carbs and the valve covers in the pic. And the paint is metallic too. It just didn't show up in the pics. I even painted the wheely bar wheels black...lol

I know I'm throwing up a bunch of junk I built...But I get messages from people telling me to post more so here it is. This is the Ford Farout Fairlane.I painted it flat black with a gloss red roof. I did the interior in red and white. I kept it simple with the motor...Nice and clean looking I think...So if you don't mind my posts I'll keep posting every couple days.

Ive been a scale modeler since 1964 when my dad bought me my first kit. I now belong to several clubs and compete with my work on a national level.
