Brought home a couple kits Not so sure how im gonna finish this one but as far as a paint sceme i was kinda of going for a pacer x sceme.the body is a jimmy Flintstone resin pacer funny car/pro mod.it will probably end up woth some turbo's     |

Well this has stalled out. Can some builders post more pics of their work ? This is a awesome thread if we can keep it going. Any big truck builders ? Custom 4x4 builders ? Any tips ? Kit reviews ? Think building a model is a waste of time , tell us about it.

I'm thinking of starting one of many I have waiting to get built, maybe i'll make a poll to see which one I will build ....I think I'm gonna try to find the two models I combined into one that looked liked it came out of a box....it was a Plymouth duster body on a K5 blazers 4X4 frame  ....

A couple months ago, the wife asked me to buy her a truck model kit for our "G" scale railroad layout. So I bought a 1/24 scale Ford cabover Pepsi delivery truck, to go with the pizza diner I'm building. As of yet she has not started it because, as she says, she doesn't know what all the parts are, even though they are numbered, and still attached to the parts trees, so I told her I'd help her...., as soon as I finish my 1/6 Willy's.

After I sold all my scaler stuff off a little over a year ago I dug out my 1/24 1/25 kits and started building again. There's some nice builds in here! Here's a Honcho I rebuilt from an old glue bomb a couple months back... I needed a break this past summer, from building RC's. I started trolling ebay looking for some models I tried to build as a kid back in the early 70's Revell 1\8 bikes. These are all at least 30 years old. I collect to build for myself. 1st, the L.A. Street Chopper, I have 3 more of these to build, but they will be different then the box. Love it guys three pages of good stuff no question. I've been putting a collection together of all the NASCAR champions 1949 - present. It contains both diecast and models both styrene and resin cast. The newer cars are of course diecast. In the middle range they are rare diecasts and customs (stripped and repainted). The older cars are where the models and resin cast cars live. I'm up to date with the exception of six unfinished early year champions. I've been working on it I when ever I have extra time for over ten years. I'll have to take a photo it's kinda cool. |

The booondocker price is super high. I do not understand why they do not re release it. The cop out kit is still normal price. I built the cop out as a kid allmost pulled the trigger on one last week. If I lived to be a hundred I could not finish what I allready have. local show in a month or two , bet I spend over $200 on kits and parts when it gets here. |
