here's what i have so far, it's not quite finished though the way it lifts is whenever a vehicle drives up and runs over the little rectangle towards the front driver's side of the trailer, it makes the ramps go up, and whenever the vehicle pulls off the rectangle, the ramps go back down. Down Up this is an older pic, but here it is with the nylint on it. -Dalton Last edited by hotrodzach; 11-26-2006 at 04:30 PM. |

I would maybe look into doing a metal frame with a wood bed, it will look cooler and probably be cheaper to build than doing a full metal trailer. Home Depot has all sorts of angle, tube, and bar stock you can get. Take a look at what they have, and get an idea of what you can do with it.

i made the trailer that Disturbin' tha Peace has now. its all aluminum from my working place and from homedepot. took me about 4 days to make. it has a tilt platform that uses it's own weight as a counter weight. it stays up after you get off of it and stays up until you get back on........... look under his post in scaler's for more pics and he has a video of it |
