i remember researching that hyper 212 evo. was a great cooler, especially for the price. tons of great reviews. mine is near identical but i cant remember what. i know its white lol. btw that video was bad ass. had to share it. definatly got me pumped to drive! i just found out the corvette forum is hosting a fun run with the DP at Daytona Road course tonight. 8:30 with a FIXED setup that they provide and is automatically applied when you enter the league/race lobby. sounds pretty cool setup here http://redirect.viglink.com/?format=...1.sto%3Fdl%3D0 i think i may give that a try if i can figure out how. |

^^Yeah, the cooler was recommended by a friend. Got 4.3Ghz on the CPU on my first attempt, and seems good so far. If it's stable, I'll likely just leave it alone as that's a full 1GHz gain. I'm down for that if I can get in and run with you

highlights from the CF GT3 fun run at the ring Tuesday. race was about 5 laps i think. my list of excuses: -got home with 9 minutes left in practice -picked a car i hadnt drove in 6 months and never cared for (mclaren) -it had a lemans tune loaded on it, and i just ran that -i dont have the memory to ever learn the 'ring, each corner is a new surprise lol -non of my qual laps counted. even though they were perfect 0x laps. +/- section times even disappeared a couple times. weird stuff. -i was talking to the wife and missed the start, had to start from the pits, which released me in last place, 15 seconds after yall went by -caught the feild surprisingly and worked my way up to 7th. -Threshold passed me in the pits with a lap to go. i didnt know how much time was left and put in 20 gallons had PLENTY of fuel for that last lap. -embarrassingly Threshold was faster than me with a damaged car -finished 8th |

man randy you didnt tell me how awesome the radical is! its like the Vette DP and a motorcycle had a baby now were gonna Quentin Tarantino it and go back to the beginning was on one of my youtube binges and was looking up light weight track cars, which led me to Radicals, which led me to the SR8. Then that reminded me iRacing had one. so i started watching youtube vids of it and this review. so i finally decided to buy it. went on iRacing and couldnt find it. well turns out i already had it, guess it was a free car! so i got it painted up and caliberated and took it out. wow what a blast. talk about point and shoot once the tires are warm. and the braking is insane. if my normal brake point is at a 300 marker, i could go to 200 or even deeper lovin it |

Yes I did, we had a whole discussion about it and the HPD and whether they had TCS and ABS or not. It is for sure one of my favorite cars in the sim. And I just learned we now have tear offs in game too, and in VR they are supposedly incredible. Oulton park last week in it was a freaking blast! We all need to do a session in them together!

1:27.357 so far is my best clean lap. Talk about an exhausting track. NO time to chill on a straight and catch your breath! |

EDIT: So apparently, you have two places to choose track layout in iRacing. Well, that isn't confusing at all. Last edited by hpiguy; 12-08-2016 at 04:50 PM. | |

Your screen show cut off the areas where I changed weather and track stuff. It was on the right side.

I haven't messed with VRC in years. I don't game a ton, so my gaming is 90% iRacing these days as it requires a time investment to do well.

Wow, I kinda suck! I can't get past 1:27.0 with this combo. Optimal lap is a 1:26.1, but I'll be damned if I can actually achieve that! I end up hitting a rumble strip or spin while trying to put power down and just get frustrated. :(

Same here Tommy. I've spun the car I don't know how many times at the bottom of the long downhill left hander (turn 6), or on the brakes headed into the uphill turn 2.
