What's that? The internexperts, wrong? No way! (obvious sarcasm)

I got bored with Automobilista and iRacing so I tried RaceRoom. I ended up doing the FR3 Cup Challenge. My best time is 1min 51.457s. Give it a shot.

Assetto Corsa today received a very big update to the sim. This update includes physics changes, a new tire model and even brake fade to vintage cars. This update also comes with new FREE content that will allow Assetto Corsa owners to enjoy the Audio Quattro and the new Highlands Racing Circuit (with 4 layouts includeing a new drift circuit), a fantasy track created by the AC Team.

First track reminds of our nights at Prague in Forza 6. Also, those gloves are ridiculous for sim racing.

The more I see Assetto Corsa the more I want to buy it. I wish there were demos like the good ol' days.

The Dirt Rally FFB sucks with my Thrustmaster TX. Have you guys found a way to get good FFB in Dirt Rally?

ive got mine cranked to 150% for certain things. and the torque steer/rut following turned way down (i cant remember the correct name for this one)
i still wish i had a bit more. i like alot of FFB/heavy wheel. i havent tried turning up the wheel resistance yet.
i also havent tried seeing if i can go over 100% in the thrustmaster setup. but i dont want to be changing that everytime just for DR.

I like a heavy wheel too. DR is way too light. The steering is also way too sensitive for me. Even a little flinch will send the car veering off course. I have to sit down and play with the settings I guess.

rally cars typically have a steering lock of 360 to 540 degrees, so DR automatically changes the wheel to that lock rate to match the cars lock rate.
however if you turn off "soft lock" i think its called it will keep your thrustmaster settings (of 900 i assume)
thats what i did. i prefer my steering rate to match that of my real car.
i will admit im quicker with a faster steering rate, but screws me on track in real life.

I discovered, kind of by accident, that I can drift the SK Modified cars pretty well. I don't have a screen recorder so tonight I used the ghetto method and took a video of the replay with my cell phone. Fun cars.

Looks like a fun truck, but they ruined the appearance with that blower sticking through the hood. What were they thinking??

I gotta say, I was one of the biggest skeptics for the Touch controllers. BUT, pass the pepper for my serving of crow, this shit is crazy! Literally ducking for cover in Dead and Buried multiplayer, Zombies sneaking up on you in Arizona Sunshine, the Matrix like stuff in Superhot VR, etc. And today, all touch owners got Robo Recall, a $10mil budget Epic games production that looks every bit as good as anything on a 2D setup, for FREE! It's a decent bodyweight workout too, LOL.

Love the game in theory because I've ALWAYS been waiting for a good baja simulator, but I agree that it looks awfully arcady.
