That's close alright. None of the NAPcar stuff interests me though.

iRacing has released two non winged sprints, and you get both for the price of one. As hard as the winged 410 is to drive, these also don't interest me.

I've also been playing around with a plugin called irFFB. It's not considered a mod or a cheat, and there's a thread on the iRacing forum about it. It basically uses the game telemetry to drive your FFB, and gives you the option of suspension movement, fore/aft loading, and SOP in the FFB output. I haven't spent enough time with it to make a decision yet to be honest, but it's nice to have more options.

The wingless sprints have been available for a while now. I bought them right when they came out. I can't drive them fast nor can I drive them consistently. They're tough!

Apparently we might get the trucks on dirt which would be cool. With it being nice outside I haven't been racing much and when I do it's either Dirt Rally or Raceroom. Raceroom is excellent with the right car and track!

I too love RaceRoom, I think the FFB feel is the best of all of the ones that I own (Assetto Corsa, iRacing, RaceRoom, Project Cars, Dirt Rally). Haven't messed with Dirt Rally in a while, a recent update broke it for VR, and I don't care to run race sims in 2D, at all.

You're spoiled! And I'm jealous!

There is a Dirt Rally FFB/Physics mod that I was checking out, but I haven't tried it.

We should do a Raceroom weekly lap time. I want to see how slow I really am!

Ah, don't be too jealous, it's worse than an RC addiction constantly wanting to upgrade things. I can run the most demanding new 2D games and average 175fps or so in 1080P. Still can't max out the settings in VR in some titles, but pretty close though. I've been playing more 2D games lately, and got the itch for a 144hz gaming monitor.

I looked into some of the mods, and with some if you forget to disable it and do anything online you get a permanent VAC ban.

I've been doing more 2D gaming lately, so I've been looking at monitors. I was working on the road Friday, and stopped by Best Buy on the way home. Got a helluva deal on a new 29" ultrawide (2560x1080p) IPS gaming monitor. I knew coming from a 32" 1080p TV it'd be better, but damn this thing looks good! Been playing the hell out of the new Doom, and GTA V with the Redux graphics mod.

I haven't turned a lap since buying the new monitor. Work's been crazy as all hell, so I've just wanted something I can kick back with a controller and a beer and relax. I've played a crap ton of GTA V. Trying a new graphics mod, it's my favorite so far.

Lately I've seen lots of press about iRacing sim racers going real racing such as this one. Sorry, it's on Jalopy. :P

It'll be interesting to see how that and Forza 7 stack up once the actual production versions of games are out, and reviews are in.

There's a new SpinTires coming out. This is news to me. Does anybody know how it differs from the first?

There's a pretty cool Challenge this week on Raceroom. My best time is with the Nissan 300ZX.

My best time is 1 minute 29.485 seconds. I was 23rd overall (which equates to 9th in Division 2) as of last night.

I haven't turned a lap in weeks now. I dig the Mustang, though it's a handful. Out of town for the weekend, but maybe I'll get back on it next week.

I have no idea how this happened. I kinda gave up on iRacing, but I logged in to have fun with the UMP cars. I bought them since I had participation money in my account.
