ok.... i added the "cant be fixed part" yeah i agree, although i do see some of the guys reviewing also admitting theyve never tracked a car, and i like that honesty. and will lowered there "feel" reviews validity in my head. i definatly highly respect your input, just seen too many reviews that point the opposite direction, and about the one thing i complained about in PC1. its never a good sign when within the first 3 days of the game release a 3rd party FFB patch tweak was released. and every review since has mentioned FFB in the Con column. like you said they MEGA simplified the FFB tweaks in PC2. helping to simplify tweaking it. trust me no one more than me want to buy and like PC2. i LOVED PC1 exept that one "little" problem. but like you said its also a opinion, we all like our real cars and sim cars to feel differently. its personal preference. Im sure ill probly pick it up in a year or two when it goes on sale at steam or when the winter blues/boredom kick in, in a few months |

From my understanding, the JS files were released because many in the PCars community wanted it, and wanted more control over the FFB settings, like the old game. Average users will likely be fine with the standard sliders, very similar to AC. But the hardcore Pcars guys wanted more control, and many of them go in and still edit every single car as well. Kinda funny if you think about it, everyone bitched about how involved it was, they make it easy, then everyone bitches about that. See a pattern here in regards to simracing? LOL I'm definitely an oddball in terms of gaming, and life in general. No two ways about it, what works for me might be terrible for others. |

| Re: PC Sim Racing Quote: Life got in the way of my sim racing too. Friday I get my gallbladder taken out so I've been busy on top of battling bad insomnia this week. Don't know WTH is up with that. I battled insomnia when I was younger, but not recently. I hear recovery from gallbladder surgery can be pretty bad so we'll see if I make the race next week or the following. | |

| Re: PC Sim Racing Thanks, man! I'm good except when I have an attack and have to pass gallstones. When people talk about the intense pain from passing stones they aren't kidding. I always thought the paint was overstated until I experienced it. A female nurse told me she would rather go through labor than pass stones. For me it's an intense 4 to 10 hour session of pain. I've battled this for years, but the attacks are becoming way too frequent and the doctor said it needs to come out. I'm looking forward to the relief and the ability to eat beer cheese again without a gallstone attack! |

Damn Jato, hope you're feeling better man. Not sim racing, but the Spin Tires sessions have been a lot of fun. |

I can't get into Spintires. I'm not sure why. Rift + Touch bundle is on sale for $350 right now. I'm really tempted. I'm afraid a new version will be released sooner rather than later though.

Ha! HELL YES, congrats man. Somebody I actually sort of know to play co-op VR games with!! SWEET!! Go ahead and download the Oculus home software, and the third party Oculus tray tool is great also. If you have any questions, just shoot me a text or give me a call and I can walk you through it. I was very skeptical of the touch setup, but it's pretty damned cool though. I'll warn you though, prepare to be sweaty and tried from playing video games. Also, workout puzzle mat works great for padding for diving into the floor for cover. LOL EDIT: Also, lots of great deals on sim race gear for Black Friday deals. I'm VERY tempted by the Fanatec V3 inverted pedals at $300. Last edited by hpiguy; 11-23-2017 at 01:01 PM. |

I have phone numbers, but no names or who they belong to. On the PC Sim text thread it's just a bunch of phone numbers. LOL So shoot me a PM or text with your name and number.

Most of you have already seen 'em, but for those that didn't, this was my Black Friday score. Fanatec V3i pedals. Came with the pedals, brake damper kit, shaker motors for brake and gas pedal, and tilton/DSD style pedal faces as well. I'm still dialing them in for my tastes, but so far I'm very happy with them, it's a big upgrade from the T3PA pro setup. |
