Meh, he's way off base on a lot of that. But like I always say, VR isn't for everybody. #3 in particular though; he's really complaining about the one thing it's supposed to do well, immersion? LOL

^^That looks uncomfortable to me. And $239? LOL, you're only paying for the convenience of not having to mount decent gear to your rig and run a couple wires. I don't have any issues with the vibes making it through to me, and my amp is generally set at 50%. I guess it's the age old adage, do you want quick and easy, or do you want good? This is cool |

Found some crawling games while browsing Steam tonight. I feel at least one of these has been linked on here before, but my memory sucks. Ultra Off Road Simulator 2019 https://store.steampowered.com/app/9...snr=1_5_9__300 Pure Rock Crawling https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...Crawling/?snr= And this one is for Randy - Alaskan Truck Simulator. Reminds me of Ice Road Truckers and I'm sure that was inspiration for the game. Discovery Channel is even part of it somehow. https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...uck_Simulator/ |

That Alaskan Truck game looks like a mix of Spintires and American Truck Simulator. I'll have to check that out for sure. I haven't spent much time in any sim lately, but got released from the ortho and physical terrorist today, so I need to get back into it, and revisit Pcars2 and try that endurance race. Cory, what did you mean by con VR screen wiping?

i guess his screen kept fogging up he said. he had to keep sticking his finger in to wipe the screen. seems like a tiny fan or even some black open cell foam would help. |

Heat/fogging issues are usually one of two things, and I had to learn this myself. 1. Turn on the headset about five minutes before you want to play. Putting a room temp device with lenses, whether it be a VR headset or sunglasses, on a 98deg body usually results in fogging. 2. Get the headset adjusted properly. I thought for a long time, I know how to adjust something to fit ME. I was wrong, read the how to, and it was much, MUCH better. |
