well I finally made my first run up Pikes Peak!
Been trying stage 1 over and over for the last 2 weeks trying to tune some of the off throttle snap oversteer out of that damn Audi. usually id get frustrated after 3-4 tries and turn it off.
well last night I finally gave it a go and ran the full course for the first time. id never seen stages 2-12 or however many there are.

its definatly not smooth or fast, but I felt accomplished to even make it to the top with my body panels and wheels.

ran a 11:08

i found this nice new tool called jsgme which loads the mods for you instead of having to install the manually like we used to. you can load the mods a after the game checks the files to see if its modded so it allowd you to olay modded multiplayer

it works with maps and trucks and really whatever mods you throw at it

Yep, that's what I used, as well. Unfortunately, I still had lots of stability issues so I ultimately decided against using mods 'til oovee comes out with their next patch, which should be mod friendly.

Seems like I am a little late to the party here! Lets do a pic of my rig for starters:

Play Assetto Corsa, PCars, GTR 2, Race07, RBR, Dirt Rally, Dirt 3, and F1 2013.

Can find me on steam as Gz0|Brute71.

That is the one right there, lacks a little lumbar support (could fix it with a small piece of foam) so long sessions tire out my back muscles a little but otherwise works well.

Thanks! Wound up upgrading the G27 piece by piece until it turned in to this. Still want the Fanatec CSW and a hydraulic pedal set but this stuff will do for a while.

Its simple!
Post a sub 10 minute time up the full mixed pikes peak in the Audi and win cash!
First guy to text or post a pic of the finish screen showing time/car/driver wins with a time under 10 minutes.
Deadline sunday at midnight!

well I got home late last night and bought Wreckfest (formerly called Next Car Game) on steam.
been watching it for about a year, and its on sale for $18 so I figured what the hell.
Its just a cheesy little early access arcade game. but it appealed the the "smash hotwheels" kid in me

its only got like 7 cars and 9 tracks. only got to play about 45 minutes last night, cant wait to head home after work and give it a proper shakedown.
my favorites so far were the figure 8 and stadium demo derbys. didn't like the banger racing as much, probly because I was racing clean.

some vids
gameplay

crashing!
