We've only had early access for a month, and Assetto Corsa Competizione has jaw dropping in game graphics already. I cannot wait to see the finished product. Last edited by hpiguy; 10-20-2018 at 12:41 PM. |

| Re: PC Sim Racing Some of the physics in that appear to be odd. Hopefully they didn't neuter it with physics that are too arcade-y. It is a good looking game and I'm excited thinking that they will optimize the game over time so it runs even smoother than it does now and it already runs well on my machine. |

I wish I could, but my shoulder can't take that long of a stint. And I have my FFB turned WAY down so I can't feel all the details I need for racing with others IMO. Got an ortho appt. on the 7th.

unless theres a specific car you want like i did. dont get it. the graphics are from the early 90s. physics are pretty decent though. all the pics/vids online make the graphics look decent, but ive never had such luck in real life. then again its been months since ive played it. #possibleupdates |

| Re: PC Sim Racing Nah, just my shit luck as usual. The reason I bought Rfactor2 is that they do more in depth (from my limited reading on sim race forums) tire modeling than any other sim. Which in turn, gives different FFB from any other sim. Automobilista, and RF2 are a lot of times the benchmark for FFB, so I wanna see what that's all about. They did just drop a big update to DX11 graphics natively, and they've had VR support for a while now too. |

race i entered last week. you maaaaay recognize the car that caused the turn 1 incident he was the race organizer and host too also the BMW at 4:30 didnt like me passing him, i could hear his motor pined against the rev limiter for 5 seconds as he drove THREW me spinning me out Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 10-31-2018 at 03:30 PM. |

No offense, but that pass at the 4:24 mark was a text book dive bomb move. You didn't have an overlap/control of the inside line before turn in, so the BMW driver had no idea you were there to start with.

first of all this is the internet AND racing, and the other guy is ALWAYS at fault also make note that he never tracked out, he saw me moving inside on corner EXIT, and pulled inside to stay inside, literally not leaving me a lane to run in. freeze frame at 4:29 and you can see he comes all the way inside the corner exit to block me, instead of being 4-5 cars towards the curb where the racing line is. |

^^LOL That's just an image, no video. Since the video doesn't have any other angles to watch from, I'm just going from what I see. And I watched it again, he's on the black lines indicating the racing line right up till the contact occurs. And from the one limited angle we have, it appears that he held his line and you running wide on corner exit caused the contact. Again, you had no overlap and didn't have the inside line before turn in, and that's the rule as it pertains to a dive bomb. Again, from the one angle we have to go off of in the video. I'm not trying to bust your balls, but if it were me that made that move, I'd fully expect you guys to give me an honest assessment as well. Do you have it from another angle? A heli cam shot from above would be perfect. |

It's early access right now, but multiplayer is coming. This looks like it would be fun as shit for league racing, and leagues will be supported according to the devs. Thoughts? https://store.steampowered.com/app/406350/KartKraft/ . |

Incident 2: He didn't want you to pass on the inside. Him wrecking you was dirty and my whole race would have been focusing on wrecking him. Quote:

if there was ever a sim perfect for VR that would be it Randy. graphics look good. IMO Kart physics could be VERY hard to get right. there so unique in real life. ie the no suspension/flexing chassis metal/thick tires would be really hard to get to NOT feel like and arcade/ simcade. not sure id spend money on a Kart only title though. never been that big of a fan. one of my current titles (cant remember) has 1 or 2. | |
