Just this year alone, if I didn't spend as much money on R/C, I could have bought this: Or this: |

Alright guys/girls, time to be honest about your spending and tally it up and let's see what other toys you could have bought with the same amount you have spend on R/C. |

more guns. mainly like plinking, so probably give one of these a try if not that, some sort of ar build. been hearing good things about rock river's guns, start there and see what all i'd like on it. last up would be a pump shotgun. the mossberg 500 tactical with full magpul furniture and full length shell tube is really the only one on the list. i have an over-under for trap and such, so having a fixed choke with the tactical version doesn't bother me. that and its a mossberg 500. things are tanks. a couple of others in the maybe pile would be a century arms pw87, remake of the 1887 and 1901 lever action shotguns. then maybe a mosin nagant project rifle. more of a modernization than restoration. |

I did give up RC and sold most my stuff. Now I mountain bike every weekend. I would highly recommend it. But I had loads of fun for years with RC.

I went from a Taylor GS Mini to a Taylor Build to Order, a Taylor custom Solid Body, a Fender American Delux Strat and a Gibson Signature Les Paul with a Mesa Boogie Cab and Head unit, a Fender Hot Rod Junior Tweed and about a dozen pedals and a large multi function pedal and other miscellaneous guitars and stands and junk. That doesn't incude my wife's guitars and amps. Oh yeah, forgot the couple vintage Fenders. Maybe not as bad as guns, but stupid expensive especially if you don't play professionally. | |

I don't think I've spent $200 on r/c stuff this year. I've traded some toyota parts for a nice bunch of r/c stuff though. All my spare cash has been spent on my auto x truck. I love playing with toy trucks and all that but running a boring looking pickup that holds it's own in auto x is simply the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on. |

I traded off a bunch of plastic model kits for a parts rig and a trail ready rig, so spending this year was next to none......

Well before i got into the RC hobby i had airgun rifle, that i sold and used money to buy me Tamiya CR01.Budget got exceeded ofcourse by at least 300$ cause of buying loads of hop-up parts, and as it seems the spending wont stop in near future because im already looking after a more scale platform beside the CR01. But as I see it money has to go on something,i dont drink and smoke, dont have kids either. My wife doesnt approve my new hobby therfore i dont tell her what i paid for all the parts, tools and the rig. I could have bought an ATV I am sure, like I have wanted to do for a while. Now that I got out of r/c racing, I am saving a ton of money. I just have some fun vehicles I like to run with my buddies that do not cost much to maintain. So 2015 is the year I finally buy that ATV I have been wanting for the last few years.

Got out of rc because I could drive a 1:1 off road for the same money. A roll cage turned into a 9k rebuild and it still needed another 3k to finish. I came running back to rc's. |
