I just found out how to add a Micro SD card to a Galaxy S6 You need a Memzmory Micro USB OTG adapter And a Integral Memory Micro SD USB reader And any Micro SD 64 GB card goes into the card reader You put the 2 adapters together and connect to your phone Scandisk makes a 64GB Micro SD disk drive You can Use your phone to mount and un-mount the card or the disk drive You can also use your phone to format the card and the disk drive So it converts the format to FAT32, so its understandable too the phone So you could load alot of MP3's and pictures and what ever on a 64 GB card or drive Last edited by kgb424; 12-11-2018 at 01:32 AM. |

Turn off programs that are running in the background that you don't use, and you will get a lot more battery life. There are a lot! |

I've got the S6, my contract is almost up, and I'm looking @ the S7. S6 serves my needs, so I will most likely keep it. Here is a charger that is very easy to use. Just drop your phone on it, and shows green light band when fully charged. https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-EP-PG...amsung+charger |

I looked online and the Zagg Invisible Shield glass screen protectors sell for $39.99 at Bestbuy and at Sprint Found the same brand and the same package with the same part number at for $9.95 on Ebay with free shipping And the BodyGlove ShockSuit case sells for $39.99 at the same places Found the protective case in the color I want black/charcoal for $9.95 with free shipping I didn't pull the trigger yet cause I want to look at other cases first Buying on Ebay would save me $60.00 I'm not a big fan of the Otterbox cases, cause they are twice the price of BodyGlove cases and just didn't like the fit of I bought one of the Otterbox cases for me S3 and it was harder than hell to swipe your finger across the screen to unlock after turning on And trying to text forget about it cause the plastic screen protector thats part of the case just doesn't work I guess I could of cut the plastic screen out and keep using the glass screen protector I think the plastic and glass screen protectors are too thick together and make it hard too use with out cutting the plastic out I just didn't like Otterbox for the S3 maybe the one for S6 is better Just looked at some Otterbox cases and still don't like them Last edited by kgb424; 06-26-2016 at 03:11 PM. |

I've had great success with an Otter Box saving my S5 more times than I want to admit. They add a bit of bulk to the phone, but the first time you watch the phone bounce off of a sidewalk and not skip a beat, the extra bulkiness becomes worth it. |

I ended up with a BodyGlove Case for my S3 and that case has saved my S3 many of times over the last 4 years Same with the glass screen protector they do what they are supoosed too they take the impact I have replaced one screen protector a year and only after it has spidered cracks in it So with the right case and screen protector I'm good to go |

I have an Otter Box Defender on my Motorola Moto X Gen 2 and I love it. Yes, it's bulky and heavy, but the protection is provides makes up for it and then some.

That charger does work good but if you do have a bulky case you might have a little difficulty getting it to charge. | |

I got some kind of glass screen saver with a lifetime warranty when I got my s6 thru Verizon. I'm up to I believe my 5th one however they have saved my actual phone screen also I cannot recommend the otter box enough. I'm am terribly hard on phones and aside from crushing it with a semi crushing it my otterbox has stood up to everything. One down fall I have found is that the battery life is not as great as other android phones I have a droid turbo as a work phone and it has almost double the battery life and I use it just as much

So when I get my S6 and go to the Sprint store to activate the phone Due they create you a new Sim card with your phone number and account info Correct ?? Can they give me the same phone number Correct ?? and transfer my contacts to the S6 correct ?? What else transfers over, does it copy your pictures and music ?? Or do I need to plug my S3 into my desktop and download my pics and music ?? Then plug in the S6 and upload the music and pictures from my desktop ?? Would I do this before going to the Sprint Store ?? Don't they delete and reset your old phone when changing over your contacts to your new phone ?? Or am I supposed delete and reset to factory setting before selling the phone ?? Last edited by kgb424; 06-27-2016 at 05:41 PM. |

Ahhhhh, you get to experience the almighty "cloud" in its glory.. be prepared to lose a fair amount of contacts and pics if you don't have a backup of everything from the old phone. The gargle cloud sucks, period

I looked at used IPhones and like the 6 and 6S but could not find one for under $300 more towards $350 I got the Galaxy S6 for $239 with free shipping and the person I bought it from has a 100% rating on Ebay So I think I will buy the disk charger cause it would be better than wearing out the micro usb port I tried the Samsung Kies software, it was a long time ago and didn't like it much Maybe its improved since that last time I tried it I don't like the cloud bullshit either cause its linked to my Hotmail and has lost a lot of my shit Maybe I should of waited or paid a little more and got a IPhone 6S My S3 is screwed up and charging it 2 or 3 times a day Don't help the batteries last any longer I got a good deal on the Galaxy S6 and needed a phone So I pulled the trigger Maybe I screwed my self by not waiting Last edited by kgb424; 06-28-2016 at 12:00 PM. |
