Default grey hair remedies

What do you use that works? I've accepted the fact that I'm not a 25 year old buck anymore, but goddamn this mountain of silver on top of my grape!

What the hell works to roll back some of the years of life as far as the color of my hair is concerned?

Beer, sex, and toys, not necessarily in that order, great ways to relieve stress, stress causes grey hair.. I have a little salt and pepper on the sides of my head and in my beard, but the top of the head is still brown.

I have noticed, people who apply pure coconut oil to the scalp every day before going to bed have healthy hair.
Stay away from those artificial hair products.

I'm not open to that option. I honestly feel it's a big problem with me getting hired anywhere.

so the coconut oil reduces stress levels? Or do they just have healthy grey hair?

You could always go the full Cousin Itt route and not have to worry about people seeing your face and knowing how old you're getting

I had gastric bypass 5 years ago. During the weight loss I would say half my hair fell out. I got pretty bare up top. It all came back. WHITE. I turn 41 next year and am salt and pepper, with way more salt than I would like. I tried a couple things, but in the end unless you want to look like the old dude with jet black hair, or pay to have it done every month it is best to let it be.

The best thing I found was "Touch of Grey" in the brush in comb. It was easy enough. Problem was they number the dye, and black is say 40, and brown is 30. I need a 33-35 to look natural. The black made me look goth. The brown was not terrible, but when it faded it the gray turned redish and looked beyond silly. If your hair happens to match the available colors of the brush in stuff it is easy enough to do. And if you seal the brush, you can use it again. It really needs to be done every 2 weeks to keep it up.

I don't believe there are any medical things that can be done. Stress caused it, and once they are gray, there is no going back. I wish it would go pure gray, I could rock the Steve Martin look. And because I am too cheap to have someone else do it, I am stuck with gray.

Side note, they have 2 different brush in dyes I have seen. Just for men, and touch of gray. I believe they are made by the same company, but the touch of gray lasted much longer in my hair. Just fyi.

EDIT: I just looked it up, and they do sell Touch of Gray in more colors online. Wallyworld only had black or light brown. I might order the darker brown from Amazon just for giggles.

A lot of people have such ugly heads, they need all the hair they can accrue. I like to keep things shaved tight, but my head is not one of them

Quit being a woman.

Nothing wrong with gray hair, its natural, if it bothers you that much shave it or wear a hat.
ALL bald guys should rock comb overs.

More related to stress levels and nourishing the scalp. They get grey hair, but pretty late in their 60's. I also noticed, they had good hair density.

My grandmother had less than 10% grey hair even at 65 yrs. And she was not alone, many people of her age including men and women. They all had one thing in common and that was they applied pure coconut oil to the scalp before bed. It was a habit for them.

If you look at the Indian market, you will notice we have a range of coconut oil hair products and this has been so since a long time. There is a reason why coconut oil as a hair product is so successful here. Its tried and tested method, that has been handed down from generations.

You might want to do some research on the benefits of pure coconut oil. The modern hair products are useless and are a total gimmick filled with artificial stuff and chemicals.

Try it for a week probably every alternate day if you don't feel like applying it daily. Notice any difference in your hair (Greys won't turn back) and then continue if you feel like. A year down the line you will see a huge difference and your greying will be postponed.

I can honestly say this is one thing that I've never once cared, much less worried about. I turn 40 in a few weeks, and have plenty of salt with the pepper up top, and lots in the beard too. I earned every damn one. I also get job offers pretty regularly, even though I'm quite happy where I'm at.

Bunch of whiny crybabies.

I'm honored to have lived long enough to have grey in my beard (damn scalp is still flourishing with thick brown hair) I can't wait for it to all fall out.
