I abhor shaving so I fought through the itchy stage.

As stupid as it sounds, you have to keep it cleaned and conditioned to avoid the itch.

I've not let mine grow continuously this whole time, but I've maintained some level of full beard.

Or be a man! Or lucky, cause mine doesn't itch and I don't do a damn thing to it.

That's because of all the beer foam, toothpaste, and chip crumbs

Does it get flappy in the wind when you drive the Miata?

Miater sold last year, I went to a motorcycle as a second vehicle. And yes it feels good in the breeze.

You've got great coverage. Very lucky. You going full wizard?

Re: 100 days

Yep going for full wizard I guess it can be called. It's about to the longest I've ever been before shaving. This time i don't have any reason to shave. I'm truck driving now so it's a widely accepted look

Hey guys I'm getting to that shaggy homeless stage. Would you recommend some good beard balm to help shape and tame it a bit?? I'm ready to buy some but don't want to buy snake oil.

I use Grave before Shave.

I'm the same as Mike, but probably worse. Not to mention, I can't stand my beard not close cropped. For those of you that can pull it off, I'm jealous, because I freaking hate shaving.

Re: 100 days

I was about to get some grave before shave. But couldn't find a decent variety pack on fleabay. I prefer Paypal on online transactions so stick there a lot. I ended up with this ordered today. Less than $20 to try a lot of scents.

My wife bought me some beard oil crap that stinks like 1970's aftershave. It worked but the urge to grab the asses of passing men was too much for me to continue its use.

I use off the shelf hair conditioner. Works perfect for me.

Two plus months, but beyond trimming sides, the goatee part length is close to terminal and might go another inch or two max.

Always wanted a belly length ZZ Top style deal, but learned many years ago there's a damn thing called "beard terminal length", and sadly mine isn't Grizzly Adams or ZZ Top.

Still growing it out. Think I'll try and find my terminal length. With as many hairs I lose a day I can't believe it's not patchy.
