The last few books I've read were google e-books. Most of the old classics are free, so why not, right?

A Princess of Mars ~ saw the movie John Carter, had no idea the story was 100 yrs old. There are a crap load of details that didn't make it to the screen.



Jefferson Bible ~ Basically the New Testament without the miracles and supernatural events.


The Importance of Being Earnest ~ A comedy about having Victorian era first-world problems. My tablet was stolen before I could finish this one...I'll get back to it eventually.

I have not read a book lately or for quite sometime really. IDK if I don't want to or just can't (Adult ADD) but I do enjoy a good read from time to time. I really like short stories, something that keeps me interested but doesn't take a lot of time.

One of my favorites and is a timeless Classic is "To Build a Fire" by Jack London. I highly recommend it along with some of his others. Really a great read fellas.

I'll have to second To Build A Fire by London. I love most anything by Hemingway also but lately I've been reading a ton of westerns by William W. Johnstone on my kindle.

I've read Into the Wild a few times. Very good. Definitely have to check out the follow-up to it. I have to admit, since getting a Kindle a few years ago, I do most of my reading on that. I mostly read out of print free stuff. Probably have read fifty books about the Civil War and a lot of good novels and nonfiction accounts of the early pioneers. Guys like Boone, Carson, Kenton, and Crockett did things that are almost unimaginable. If you are into those sorts of stories, check out the series of novels by Joseph Altsheler. He blends fiction with nonfiction facts and events. He wrote over fifty novels and I have read more than half of them. Very good stuff and all free in the kindle store.
