Thanks man! I've just about got my shop all set up and I'm still working on the yard. I'll be pouring some concrete next week and doing a nice bluestone patio. Lots to do......

I've been working on the yard.

Decided to remove most of the backyard and start over.....mostly because I have an excavator and I can :)
Also removed the pavers from around the patio. Going to make it bigger and veneer it with Pennsylvania bluestone.

Just about ready for concrete.

4 yards and an hour later.

The patio will be about 21' x 14' when done.

Bluestone and sprinkler system for the yard should be next.

Been working on the yard quite a bit.

Front lawn was seeded about a month ago, first mowing!

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psxkx78tfp.jpg

Finally did my front walkway. Pennsylvania bluestone. Poured a 3" concrete slab first, and laid them out to get the pattern right.

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psr88o6ysr.jpg

Not bad for my first time laying bluestone.

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psfzqlykpd.jpg

Decided to completely remove my backyard, including a large patch of bamboo I planted 12 years ago.

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psopehl4mm.jpg

A friend of mine said she wanted the bamboo so I cut it up into 12" clumps and hauled it away.

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psoxqgyj6n.jpg

I wanted to save a bit of it because I really love bamboo. Decided to plant some clumps in pieces of steel pipe. Remembered I had an old air tank from a locomotive we scrapped.

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psr3lwtztt.jpg

Cutting it into 24" long pieces.

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...psjdh1czao.jpg

Ground the torch cuts and a couple coats of clear, a 24" deep hole and some bamboo.....looks pretty cool.

A couple over on the side of the house too.
