Binoculars

I need some help from the experts.

Looking for a pair of rugged binoculars for hunting. Typical use is 100 to 250 yards early morning or late evening. I think 8x will be fine but undecided on FOV (40 is maybe). Camo is a bonus. As much as i would love a pair of Steiner's, Lecia's or Zeiss' ,absolutely not in my budget. Leaning towards Nikon's, Pentax, Canon's, Luepold's or Bushnell's. I wear glasses so glass friendly is a must.

What are your experiences and recommendations.

You are sporting Kimber and Wilson and your going to go econo on optics?

Get the Steiners, Zeis, or Swarovskis.

Lol, I am not sure of a pair of binocs that cost 2.5 times the price of my rifle or half a good used 4wheeler.

Just ordered a new Browning BAR ShortTrac in .308 and will be ordering a Nikon Monarch 3 3-12x42 for it. Total is about $1450.00, hard to justify $2500 for the Binos.

check out your local military surplus store, you can get a decent mil-spec pair for not a lot of dough.
