axialfest 2016 help

i have a twin hammers i want to run at axialfest. i just like it better than my yeti (no offense). im planning on using an axial skid, scx10 rails, and a wraith cage. will that make it axialfest legal? i know it have to be an axial right but an ifs 1.9 wraith? seems close enough right?

you will have no problem. As long as its Axial you can config it anyway you want.

There is a tech inspection prior to picking up your pre-registration packet. My guess is they won't let it pass. I filmed the whole event and the only time I saw anything that wasn't an Axial product was at the boat crossing.

I get you might not like the Yeti, but why not go to another event. It is their party and they make the rules to celebrate their products, not the ones you happen to like more.

Run the Yeti or any of the Axial products.

So what is the actual rule with this? If I build a truck with a tube frame, hot racing transmission and integy axles it's allowed because it's "axial replacement parts?" But if I build a truck with a tube frame, axial transmission and g-made axles it's not allowed?

Makes perfect sense considering it is their event. Why would you have associated rigs at losifest? You wouldn't because that would be stupid...

You have a year left...and honestly depending on your goals with the Yeti (true crawler isn't really possible anyhow IMO), you don't have to spend likely as much as you think.

its not that i dont like my yeti its that i would like to be able to get a full pack through without breaking something
on the stock electronics i havent gotten a single 5000 mah 3s pack through once
ive had it a long time too, i preordered it last summer and im just not impressed. everything i break is always out of stock making this thing just too much of a hassle to run. ive run it maybe 6 times total and its fun to drive but i dont have the money to drive it.
now im having an issue where it overheats and shuts off every 3 mins of running
