Crawl-a-Palooza 2015 events ?

Making plans for announcing this years 9th annual - 2015 Crawl-A-Palooza !
normal date for crawl-a-plaooza/Scale Jamboree #9,
OCT 10th - 2015

just wanted to get some input on what everyone wants / liked or dis-liked about last years scale jamboree event.

last years event had these events
#1 G6/poker run - (one course).
#2 scale comp courses 1.9 & 2.2 classes.
#3 sprint run.
#4 Hill climb.
#5 king of palooza (over all winner).

some new ideas for this years event !

#1 G6/poker run & King of Disney U4 speed run.
changed to a two part/course event - a day leg & a night leg.

#2 Scale comp courses,
1.9 / 2.2 scale classes & heavy truck (6x6 or 8x8 trucks ?)

#3 King of Disney - U4 speed run - two part/course event - day & night leg.

#4 Hill climb or something different ?

dropping the short sprint speed run & the "over all king" of palooza events !

please post up your thoughts - ideas or comments !

I vote for g6 stlye, u4 race, an scale courses.

scale comp courses are my fav.

there will always be a comp course at this event - no mater what style event,
comp class rigs or scale rigs !

this is mostly just a feeler to see what everyone thinks about the:
G6 poker run
U4 speed run
& Hill Climb events

Hill climbs are always good.

KOD was fun but could have used more driving challenges to break it up a bit.

I like the hill climb.

Poker run is fun but could have a few more things to spice it up.

The longer speed/endurance events could probably be scaled back. I for one like to run hard and fast with my truck, it's a challenge. I dunno if others would agree.

A stand in one place U4 type race could be a good time.

the rain last year kind-a put kink in the set up on the G6/KOD course & we had to reset some of the course !
yes i agree though with more G6/KOD driving challenges.

yes the planed U4 race will be a speed run on the same course as the G6/Poker run course ! - "scale" - just like the King of the hammers

A stand in one place U4 type race could be a good time.

the only bad thing about a stand place U4 race is they;
#1 take a bunch of time to run (heat & main style races)
#2 back to counting laps by hand !

I'd like to see 3 comp courses per class. Then a 1.9 bounty hill and a 2.2 bounty hill. Then maybe do what axialfest did and run a head to head u4 stlye lap, first to the line wins, single elimination. Then do a g6/poker night run.

They did do hand count in CO for U4. Driver just had to counter.

crawl-a-palooza has always been the second weekend of OCT - 10th/11th,
CO - yes i know - i was at that race doing the announcing !!

I run small tire class 1 (1.9) less than 4 inch. courses gonna be scale?

i would like to see a 6x6 or 8x8 run for sure , also a g6/poker run with more challenges or tasks to complete would be fun . hill climb is always fun . the scale comp courses 1.9 and 2.2 and of course a night run of some type

the courses should all be do-able , and it is always fun plenty to do

You don't go to Crawl-a-Palooza to compete, you go to Crawl-a-Palooza to be at Crawl-a-Palooza.

a few people have showed some interest, in a
HEAVY TRUCK Class (6X6 - 8X8 ) comp course !
courses would have to be toned down from the normal style comp courses,
& would take at lease 8 Heavy Trucks to make the class possible !

any interest in this class at Crawl-a-palooza this year ??
