the guy I work with has one, I helped him in picking it out and been helping with lifting it and such (spending his money) He loves it, as an xj owner (which is what the libby replaced) I have to say they are dang good jeeps. The libby has that stupid IFS so your limited to a 2.5" lift anything higher and you start snapping cv's. As for power I have driven it on a few occasions and it has plenty for its size gets decent milage and a 5000# tow rating. IF you want something for off-road get the new wrangler, if you want on-road manners but able to take a trail or 2 then get the Libby, just stay away from the compass... Check out Jeepforum.com

There not bad. They had a recall on the back hatch for not shutting all the way. Other then that I really don't know much about them There's a few guys in my Jeep club who have them and like them. Hell it's a Jeep you can't go wrong.... |

my girlfriend just got a jeep liberty renegade. it looks cool but i wouldn't call it a true 4x4. with that said it scoots pretty good.its hard to shift in and out of 4wd. i like it for her.she will just use it in the snow and as a dd.i might grab when she isn't looking and take it on some minor trails.

We own one, it has the 6 banger, over all nice ride. The stability management thing is irritating to me, but its a great ride. It holds the road better than my XJ does, but its not as stable off road from my expierence.

I drove one that my girlfriend took home from the dealership that she worked at. It had the 6 cyl in it ( 3.9 ?). It would do mad burnouts and doughnuts after a short power-brake. I never got a chance to go offroad with it but it had plenty of power .

I own a Liberty and I really enjoy it. I take it trail riding and a little offroading. It works as I'd expect it to. There was quite a bit of snow up in Santa Fe getting to the inlaws over xmas and it handled it perfectly. Countdown to Jason and his gay-liberty pic since I posted in a thread about my Liberty. |
