got a question

I had to replace my fridge and there is a waterline with a valve that needs replaced for the Ice maker

I need to replace the stuck valve, that wont turn, even after heating with a torch, then oil, it won't turn the water off

so when I replace valve the question is

how much flow/pressure does it need for the ice maker

open the valve fully, half way

does anybody know

cause I rented a appliance dolly and it costing me money so I need to change out fridges fast and return the dolly

so I was hoping some body here knows so I get it down tomorrow morning

Re: got a question

IIRC the flow is regulated by the valve on the fridge.

The ice maker mechanism is basically a timer. It depends on X amount of water flowing in X amount of time to have full sized cubes. Too little water and you get little cubes. Too much water and it overflows and you get everything in the bottom of the freezer frozen to a sheet of ice.

So if you can't get the manual valve open all the way, the worst that will happen is smaller than usual cubes.

Re: got a question

You open the valve all the way, ice maker does the rest.

On second thought your fridge may need new spark plugs. I would check with Mark first though.

Does the ice-maker have a separate BEC?

I got er done

I had to move 3 fridges

2 are shit that were in the garage there going to NV Energy

they take them and give a credit

my neighbor is taking the second for a credit for him

if not the 2 are going to the dump or salvage yard

need to check and see where to get rid of them

and the 3rd one went in my kitchen

in the first 2 pictures is the old valve and connector for the fridge

the next 2 are the new valve and new fitting for the replacement fridge

I got no leaks

I'm going to try the ice maker once the fridge gets

I don't have cold beer or cold coke or ice for my cocktails

I'm not driving anywhere, its raining here and the sun is setting

so the rain is going to turn in snow and a lot of it

I'm glad I got my work done and returned the dolly

and bought some spiral ham and a frozen turkey breast

and made it home before it got nasty

The ****tards are in full force buying Christmas crap

I hope they have fun in the snow

not sure which one to make

its way more food than I eat by my self

So I won't cook both together

my Jack Russell's are going to love me

Cause when Daddy eats good

So do they

And they are not starving

Food what the **** do you think,

I don't know if they celebrate Thanksgiving in the Philippines,

There was naval bases there and a lot of the Filipino people worked on base and married Americans and are familiar with are customs

So I guess some of the Filipino people could celebrate are holidays

She never mentioned if her family was having thanksgiving dinner

I know her family celebrates Christmas and New Years

Their holidays are different from ours
