Okay it was mostly angle grinders, but also a few of the "dremel" style grinders, though one do wonder what a train depo / garage need that puny sh.. for

Nice car! I've got an 88 GTA and an 85 IROC (hence my username). I've had the GTA since 2000 and the IROC since 1998. Let me know if you have any questions about the car. I know my way around thirdgens pretty well.

It's been over a year since I bought these wheels and the decision on what tires to go with them was just made.

Thanks man! May have a few questions at some point, the guy I bought it from is a 3rd gen fanatic and has been meticulous about the car, the only thing that I'm thinking about doing is returning the wheels back to silver, he painted them gold and painted the ground effects body color, they were silver also, he was going for the GTA look, I feel that silver baskets in the wheels fit the car better and is what was original, since this a TA and not a GTA.

I had to look at this for a second before I realized it wasn't a weed grinder.

Nah, can't use a weed grinder if you can't smoke weed. LOL

Nice RC wheels! You're going to have a hell of a time mounting them without a center hole or drive hex though! :lmao:

Dang kincer - - That TA is awesome! Graduated the same year and always thought they were completely bad-ass! I love the Blue as well. It looks show-room clean!

Replacement for the Jeep JK that I wore out.

Not sure how I feel about a 1:1 Jeep with a lithium-ion Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC)-Graphite battery pack, but the gas mileage is lots better than the old one.

^^Congrats! Oddly enough, it was only rated 1MPG better in the city, and the same overall by C&D.

Combined EPA fuel economy, at 20 mpg, remains the same with or without the hybrid setup, but the electric-motor assist does bump the Wrangler's city estimate from 18 to 19 mpg.

Good looking Jeep. But why does it have a battery pack?

Did you see my post above yours about it being a hybrid? And they let you mod this place?
