Well I emailed them days ago and no response. Is their customer service always like that or is it just due to the pandemic?

Normally, Benchmade has great CS. Did you order directly from Benchmade? Instead of emailing, try calling. Also, yes, the 'slowness' could be because of COVID-19.

No, I ordered it from BladeHQ. The prices on Benchmade's site are even a little more than $20 higher!

Well I finally picked up another one of these so I don’t have to keep bringing one from work home.

My Baja Rey is awaiting upgrades so got these to play with in the meantime. VXLs were for my son and BIL, the little EXC Roost is for my 6yo son. I'm liking the Mojave A lot

Don’t have everything im yet but the no prep builds in the non crawler section have forced me to pick up a b6.2 and some sc6 chassis pieces along with other parts. Should hopefully have a build thread maybe this weekend or next weekend

I've never used a butane soldering iron, but that looks very handy.

I have the same one. Works better than the brand I had before. Its nice not having wires attached while trying to solder.

I have a TrakStar tk955 station and replacement tips are fairly high. Dug a little bit and found an adaptor so it can take Hakko 9xx tips. Hakko tips are everywhere.

Picked up a new Atomik Barbwire 3. Unfortunately, even though she was listed as 'new', she was actually the store's "display model", and there were several problems. In short, she was in need of a little "love & repair"...some of which I completed yesterday.
First, the coupler was stripped (crappy aluminum coupler, but using stainless steel grub screws). I could have just replaced the coupler, but I knew the same thing would keep happening...so, I felt a motor with a larger shaft would be more appropriate, as I could then get a SS coupler. However, that led to needing a more powerful ESC (the stock 30A wouldn't be enough)...so, a Seaking 60A was ordered as the replacement. Of course, the larger coupler required a larger diameter flex shaft, which, in turn, required a larger diameter stuffing tube. Second, the servo was underpowered (as is the case with most OEM servos)...so, a waterproof Savox micro servo was picked up from the LHS. Here's what she currently looks like inside:
As mentioned, above, yesterday, I took care of most of the work. The electronics (except for the Rx, as I'll still be using the stock Tx & Rx) were replaced, the ESC was properly programmed, and everything was tested to make sure she's operational...and, she was. Now, just gotta wait for the rest of the parts to arrive from OSE (that's Offshore Electrics, for those not familiar with FE boating). She might be small (compared to my other boats),...but, once finished, she should be a sweet little "pocket rocket", easily topping 30mph. She's definitely NOT a "pool boat"...unless you're taking an Olympic-size pool.

I ordered weird stuff for an rc build I’m working on. Like a 32 inch chassis, a dx8e and ar8010t reviver. What’s even stranger is a 6 degree of freedom robot arm

Why would I order this stuff for the same build?
