Ahh an elevator! Hang up and Drive |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase 3 more FG7RC rx's for the Radio Link RC6FG Radio (the 7th channel is for battery telemetry readout on the Tx, which is great to have handy). A set of Deans Series and Parallel Connectors for doubling up packs for Voltage or MAH as needed Some Deans to XT-60 connectors for the Telemetry wires Orders a Deans M to Trx Female adapters, but Amazon sent me 5 pair M&F Deans plugs, so they are going back tomorrow. And a set of Treal lower shock caps for the RedCat Axe rig. Got them installed and they look good, add a bit of unsprung weight except for the threaded adjusters which are above the springs, and the perch is taller and does a better job holding the spring in place. Waiting for the Treal Gen8 Knuckles and Casters to come into stock in a few weeks. Oh, and a fresh pack of smokes. lol https://i.ibb.co/1by6jM7/IMG-20200705-132421441.jpg |

Ha no I’m not going to build an elevator, and I’m not sure which project from the Big Bang theory. But yes I am building a picker truck. The base rc I’m using is a tamiya grand hauler. Unfortunately the robot arm I’m using needs 6 servos so I have to wait until the gcm transmission conversion comes back in stock or just lock the stock transmission in second gear. Once I decide which way to go I will get the chassis drilled out and start the build thread https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6144a30c67.jpg Going for something like this, but I may be lazy and leave the sleeper. Also it’s definitely keeping the tandem axles our back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lordy no. We’ve got enough of that around here. It should arrive in time for my muscadine crop. I have some blueberry going right now and the dew berry is done. |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Just put some wheels on a truck that became a project...well after I changed all the front suspension it became a project. They are Rockstar IIs wrapped in 275/65/18 Duratracs. Also got a pair of Merrels version of the croc, they're called hydro mocs. Cant figure out how to post pics from my hand me down galaxy S9. |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Few Gen 8 Parts. simple plugin all on light kit (this will be getting returned maybe. For the cost, and no controller, it was way overpriced. When I ordered I thought it was the RedCat light kit, its not.) SSD Panhard/shock mounts for the Front and Rear of the Axe. And a set of KXY Sliders for the Axe. The driver's side stock plastic slider broke off a few weeks back when I picked it up. So instead of putting weak stock plastic sliders back on, these looked like a nice inexpensive metal alternative, and just a bit more then 1/2 the cost of the Reefs Sliders for the Gen8s. And they look better than the Reefs in my humble opinion. Will get these installed after I eat some food, and make some posts in my Gen8 Steering Solutions post. Seems a few people there think the Panhard setup in the Gen 8s is great and needd no improving, and the Steering issues are not a problem. lol https://i.ibb.co/k1z4885/IMG-20200707-180725561.jpg |

Amazon airlock, 1 gallon jug, 1/2 gal choice of juice(must be preservative free), 2# bag of sugar, 1 gal distilled water. Pour 1 glass of juice for yourself and drink it. Pour remaining juice into empty gallon jug. Lukewarm is best. Dump in 2# sugar and stir well. Bring volume up to 1.5” from opening. Stir well. Mixture needs to be room temperature before dropping yeast. Add 1 pack yeast to mix and slowly stir under until it’s all hydrated. Carefully cut a hole in the lid where the airlock will fit and seal. Install lid with airlock and wait 1-2 weeks. 12-14% wine. When it’s finished bubbling, use a hose and siphon into another container. You can leave it here if you’d like. Be mindful to not siphon the yeasty goo off the bottom. The alcohol content will stall the yeast but it is not dead. If you drink any of the yeast you will have VERY regular poos. Fresh yogurt is nothing compared to this. Refrigerate it and more yeast will fall out or just leave it be 3-4 days more and it’ll do the same. Ta daaaah. Warm dark spot in the garage is all you need to let it ferment. It is necessary to lower the juice ratio to achieve a proper sugar content using the entire 2# bag. The one glass removed is replaced with pure water. If the end product is too sweet then add a little distilled water. If it’s too dry then add a little sugar. Amazon just dropped off some agave nectar to try to small batch some Aztec pulque. Also, have a hulled out 12# watermelon simmering on the stove right now for the stuff of legends in country songs. https://www.amazon.com/Twin-Bubble-A.../dp/B08C9W761W https://www.amazon.com/Madhava-Natur.../dp/B00D85SYPW |
