Re: Pics of your latest purchase Kind of hard to see but I got an IERC Lay down mount for my Capra with stealth x. Fits, but not without some tweaks. Does clear the interior with a UCFab flat skid though https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...316d8d638b.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...de6e82b800.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...adae677596.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase 1 Attachment(s) Most affordable way to get one's hands on a RTX4xxx-series GPU is to (unfortunately) buy a complete system, rather than build one as I used to always do... So - Origin PC Neutron RTS: |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Dad and I went to a Chicago area pretzel place called Gnarly Knots for lunch and I picked this up to drink with the pretzel dogs I ordered since this and A&W are my favorite root beers https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag.../IMG_6428.HEIC But found it was going to be a little while for the batch to finish, so I grabbed this to try out after seeing the label……. https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag.../IMG_6427.HEIC Not so much for my name being on it as much as the Power Wagon on the label and cap! Kinda neat thAt these are both glass bottles with metal caps! |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase ^ Rad. Bet both of those drinks hit the spot. |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Been wanting one of these for a while now. Got the spring cleaning sale email from Horizon this morning about 10:00. Had it in my car from my lhs at about 12:30! https://i.postimg.cc/GtVjd002/IMG20230419171246.jpg |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase NICE!!! You snapped that up just in time - seems to be sold out everywhere! I'm not usually an Axial fan, but I kinda wanted this in white - really like the body and the straight axles. However, I just blew my spare change on a long-awaited new gaming PC, after installing 7 TB of solid-state drives I'm tapped-out! Now I can do virtual Rock Crawling when it's nasty outside..."thumbsup" |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Was time for a laptop upgrade...in power, as well as size. Out goes the Dell XPS 13, in comes the 2023 Dell XPS 15 w/ 13th Gen Intel Core i9, 32GB RAM, and Nvidia RTX 4070. Great for 'everyday' use, playing games (not that I'm a gamer anymore), and...most importantly...editing videos "on the go".https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c8458a7caa.jpg ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Now I don’t know about everyone else, but for me if I get an idea I really like in my head it’s all I can think about. I am wanting to upgrade 3d printers in a few months and I am looking at the bamboo labs x1 and the voron 2.4/trident. Basically 2 printers that are COMPLETELY different. X1 is assembled out of the box, no support currently for people to fix their own printers and the time it comes out of the box till first print isn’t very long. Where as the vorons are more money yet STILL need more stuff to be able to put together, oh and they also need software added to the raspberry pi they don’t come with plus they need 3d printed abs parts to build. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve never built a 3d printer and I definitely want to try….. I mean I’ve built many rcs, plus I build control panels/ controls engineer for work so shouldn’t be too bad right? So I’ve been staring down the voron v0.2s1 kits by ldo and formbot. I’ve watched the same videos multiple times the past few days, and even nearly bought both kits several times. I couldn’t make up my mind! …..until I hit the complete button on the fancier ldo kit. While the price or the formbot kit made it VERY appealing and the needing more wiring wasn’t going to be an issue the reason I went for the nicer kit was the quality of the parts. It’s like vanquish phoenix vs a ulta if they had the same trans. The phoenix is definitely a great platform but the ultra just has nicer axles The plan with the printer is once it gets here it’ll sit in the box for a few months, mostly because I have a VERY EXPENSIVE purchase coming up in a July that I really need to save the pennies for to have a cheaper monthly payment ( hint hint) but once that happens I’ll get the parts through the voron discord and get the upgraded screen, orange pi and build the damn thing!
