^^That is a DAMN nice kit, congrats!!

Some Lee Precision .308 dies while they were on sale almost half off, and some .308 snap caps for trigger tuning.

Hunted this down this past weekend. Have been wanting to try it and had to drive across town to find a store that had it.

Nope, sure haven't. What you compare it to from the land of the Scotch?

I haven't had a ton of variety with different Scotch, but out of what I have had, the only one that's close is Glenfiddich 18. Of course, that's a few $ cheaper than the Yamazaki 12. My normal go-to is Glenmorangie Lasanta and I'd drink the Yamazaki 12 over it any day.

Part of the big deal of Japanese Whisky (yep, they spell it Whisky in Japan) now is that it's getting more and more scarce until the distilleries can catch back up at some point in the future. It's probably as much a novelty of it being scarce as it is being really good.

Well, if it's that good, then it's pretty damned good. Glenfiddich 12yr is my go to Scotch. I also really love Balvenie Doublewood and Glen Morangie Quinta Ruban.

The scarcity thing sounds like the infamous Pappy Van Winkle bourbon thing. If you like bourbon, Weller Reserve is pretty close and can usually be found cheap with a bit of hunting around. Pretty sure it's distilled in the same place, but don't hold me to that.

More gun stuff. New range bag, slip on recoil pad, and a Midwest Industries M LOK swivel stud bipod mount.

I have a bottle of Weller Special Reserve I picked up a week or two ago at a local ABC. I also have others from Buffalo Trace...regular Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Sazerac Rye and Blanton's...nothing too spectacular. Blanton's is pretty hard to find these days though. Bourbon is my norm for liquor...have a cabinet full of different brands.

Got my 3Brothers G13 servo after a very short backorder wait (like three days).

Got the balance plug adapter cable included to run right off the battery without having to fool with a battery connector jumper or splice a connector.

That servo puts out almost 700oz or torque. Wheels bound up in a rock, just flick the wheel and move the rock. :lmao:
