Tho, I think it would have been better blue, as opposed to purple. [emoji16][emoji1690] ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Thanks. My last box (top and bottom cabinets) was blue with a red locker on the right side. Saw this color combination and couldn’t pass it up. Probably doesn’t help that my Snap-on dealer knows I like purple seeing how he told me about this set up before anyone else got a chance to see it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase The latest additions for my Capra...Yeah Racing Desert Lizard internal spring shocks, and a bunch of M3 nylock nuts (ok, so the nylock nuts will be used on multiple vehicles).https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...df06fba31b.jpg Have to admit, these shocks are a little "unusual". I just opened one of the boxes, to get a 'quick peek', and discovered that the shock caps are on the bottom, as in, the ONLY shock body opening is on the bottom. Instead of filling work oil from the top, as every shock I've ever filled is done, you hold these upside-down, and fill from the bottom. Like I said, "unusual". ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Well after retiring from off-road racing 25 years ago, I got bit by the bug again! Hoping to get it built in time to do some indoor racing this winter. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d9c6ddf8d7.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Pics of your latest purchase Not much for $70 but should keep me busy. 3/8 and 1/2” breaker bars and one of those floppy ratchets. Should have my Tacoma tranny on deck tomorrow morning and hopefully back on by dark with a new clutch. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7f7f323d4d.jpg |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Don’t print the Dog......... it’s a 10 hour print, and you won’t have enough filament. I just got a CR20Pro for $299, With the auto level I’m shocked how easy this one was! Yes I already had a good Cura Profile, and it works well. I’ve had great luck with 4.0, but failed with 4.4..... ????? No clue why. It took me a long time to get consistent prints, now, slice, load, print. I run Octoprint on both printers, makes testing quicker. Hang up and Drive |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Quote:
I skipped past the dog and cat and printed the pig. The pig took 6 hours, but it looks really good for my first ever print. I bought a spool of Overture black PLA to practice with, so I’ve got plenty to work with for now. I’m a newb at this 3D printing, so everything you just mentioned just flew right over my head. [emoji1787] Tomorrow I plan on digging a little deeper into learning the software and printing some upgrades for the printer that I found on Thingiverse. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase New project just rolled into the shop! Well, not purchased, but received as a Christmas gift. These seemed to be one of the latest build crazes! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4d5396b6cf.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Picked these up today, bought them for a R/C project I just started, but can use most of this on plastic model projects too"thumbsup" http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pshxrpb7vu.jpg Also got this in the mail, it's just some inanimate carbon rod for the same project and why I bought the baby chop saw, figured that I may want to make a couple and that saw would be a whole lot quicker and cleaner than an X-Acto saw and Mitre Box set  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psdns5xtiy.jpg |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Over the past few months, I've had several conversations with my wrists...although, to be completely honest, they're more like lectures. Even worse, each one seems no different that the previous ones...almost like a broken record. They've typically gone something like this.......... Wrist: You're constantly working me hard. I do all these things for you, yet you never do anything for me. To tell ya the truth, I'm getting sick and tired of it. I've tried to tell you, numerous time, how hard you're working me, and all I can do is complain a baby causing you some pain. And, how do your repay me...by causing me to do more work. Well, I'm gonna tell you, if you don't start treating me better, I'm gonna get real nasty. You start treating me better, and I'll stay you better. Me: Yea, I hear ya. I'll see what I can do to change. Well, I'm here to tell ya, I finally listened. Dear, wrist, here ya go. Be happy now...and, get some rest.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b9c7c8801b.jpg ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase I got some opened, but never used Traxxas Traxx on eBay for a decent discount. When they arrived I was happy to see they shipped from Stormer Hobbies. I can't wait to try these out. http://i.imgur.com/INbbOvPh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/2ehDPbZh.jpg I also got stiffer rear springs, heavier shock oil, rear link risers, portal over drive gears and a Hot Racing servo mount for my Capra. The Castle B-Link is going to be used as a programming tool. I'll install it in a new vehicle and once it's set to where I'm happy I will transfer it to another truck. Sadly, they are too expensive to justify putting them in every RC that I have. http://i.imgur.com/Ri9jXNih.jpg |
