Bruce signed for this and got into it before me. A few more items still on the way for the body but starting chassis tomorrow.

Slash 4x4 lcg ?
If that’s the 2200 Castle you need to trim the screw bosses under the motor. See if paper slides, about 30 sec to dremel, saves the motor mount
Reason I’m thinking is I just replaced a broken chassis and dyed it last weekend.

This is before degreasing, sticker removal and milling for motor.

Well, I managed to get a riding mower for my acre of ground! This is what 75 bucks got me, and then 40 more for a new battery... the people got rid of it because they couldn't get it started...smelled like old dead gas...

I got it started on ether and it stayed running so I dumped in a couple gallons of fresh gas and let her run for about an hour...been running great ever since! It had 151 hours on it when I got it and now its got 190!

Craftsman (husqvarna) 42 inch cut with a v-twin 24HP briggs motor..mows great! Sure beats the hell out of the 21 inch push mower I was using...it wasn't even self propelled lol!

Busy with a broadcast gig in a different city and drove past a hobby shop yesterday.

Yes, Slash 4x4 Platinum, it is the castle 2200 but it is not the finned can, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I'm going to be stripping it down to a bare chassis anyway. I'll have to check out the bosses you speak of, wouldn't happen to have a pic would ya?

I will post the chassis pic again with the bosses indicated, here you go. If you can easily slide paper without hitting your fine. I had a 2400 that didn’t hit, but the 2650 did

Let me know how you get those foams in the stock tires. My fight was awful, with the 4.5” foams, they are a tad wide also

Got this thing previously owned. I didn't want the tan model I kept seeing everywhere and so when I saw it I grabbed it. Cool looking body for sure. Servo is as expected for any RTR glad to have it though
