Re: Pics of your latest purchase That should be fine, the GFX from both Nvidia and AMD should arrive in September, so if you can soldier on with the old one for a little while that's what i would do too. |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Cars like your Jeep with thin headlights like that, i call China-man cars :ror: I do wonder how narrow headlights will get, before fashion or whatever change again. But nice buy "thumbsup" i am almost going that big in a few months getting myself a low / mid end laptop, though that will be mine from day #1 unlike my cars that normally belong to the bank for the first 6 - 8 years. Also eying a new car, but it is 2 X of what i can afford, but maybe a used one in 2-4 years time. |

If you are looking for goodies for it yet, I’ve been following this guy on Instagram for a while and his product line for these has been expanding for some time now"thumbsup" https://instagram.com/mfcoffroad?igshid=o6j44k8l2jqs Oh, and before I forget, if you got that with the 3.2l, the newer P.U.G. Lower Intake Manifold as well as the MSD and RIPP coil packs for the 3.6l should fit without an issue:twisted: |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase https://www.toyota-4runner.org/membe...-img959689.jpg It's been a LONG road to get back to this point, but I'm finally able to find a small fixer-upper that's in a good area. I just made a new, full time job for myself with this gem, but at least it's MINE ! It's still sinking in that this is actually happening. |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Here if you want a guy to fix things for you, there is 2 things you need to do. 1: Hire the guy 2: Make the tools he need to do his job available. No man bring his own tools to work here, that would be the basis of a good old roast by your fellow workers if you did. Even if you go to the black market fixers, at least masons - carpenters ASO, well they might work for less and not pay taxes, but they will still arrive in their bosses van full of his tools to do the job. IF ! The tools have not been stolen, seem like B&E into vans for tools are something people travel to Denmark from all over the eastern EU. |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase Grabbed a set of no name leafs from Amazon, they arrived a few days ago. Pic will be in the SSD Leafer build. Got a no name set of 5 servo horns too. today a few more goodies arrived. 3s 2500 mah 5c lipo for the RadioLink Tx, and a 3000 3s 30c to run a 3s pack in the Xray, and smaller pack for the crawlers. https://i.ibb.co/Zm889Km/IMG-20200605-170859147.jpg A pair of 2s Gen Ace 4600mah 60c packs for the Xray X1 https://i.ibb.co/r56614d/IMG-20200605-170855143.jpg On Monday, I received 2 3S 5200 30c packs for the crawlers as well just to pick up wheel speed and keep good run time for when we go out trail running. no pic of them. Heres the servo arms and a 25kg servo for the SSD/Leafer Blazer build. Will be mostly a 'daily driver'/light trail runner, so this should be fine. https://i.ibb.co/zrJSMdv/IMG-20200605-170840228.jpg I grabbed this 80A esc and a 4600kv motor for the SSD/Leafer Blaser as well. This is a BIG Esc, as big as a Monster X I would say. May be way to big for the build. May have to put this aside and use it in something else (Rock Rey etc) As it is a 1/10 1/8th scale motor so a bit bigger than I thought it would be, and has a 5mm shaft. It is also 4s capable. But If I can find a place to sneak it in with the rest of the things I plan on doing with it. It may go in. lol But, I'll probably order an HW 60a esc/motor combo for it, or find something someone here has f/s. This one don't need too much, but I want to get some wheel speed as a daily driver rig. https://i.ibb.co/WnryTx7/IMG-20200605-170848227.jpg The last thing in today's spending spree is a set of 130mm shocks for the SSD/Blazer Class 2 Rig. The stock 90mm SSD Shocks are too short and limit suspension travel too much. So these 130s should help that out. https://i.ibb.co/GP9KXmD/IMG-20200605-170852353.jpg |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Now that we're finally starting to get work again, I decided I needed a better, and larger, lunchbox...ok, so, technically, it's not exactly a "lunchbox"...it's a Yeti Tundra 35 rotomolded hard cooler.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d8e867f4df.jpg As a professional chauffeur driving large vehicles (Sprinters to Motorcoaches), who also tends to spend a lot of time 'waiting' for clients (sometimes several hours, and occasionally driving for overnight trips), my Igloo cooler just doesn't cut it anymore. It was perfect when I was driving the sedans & SUVs for shorter trips...but, for the longer trips of a Class B chauffeur, it's just too small, and it's not capable of keeping things really cold for long periods of time. ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase I’ve found that if you lay a large plastic Amazon bubble wrap envelope across the top of your cold stuffs it’ll last twice as long. Especially in a not so good cooler. |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase A friend gave me a Yeti can cooler (koozie) a few years back, and when I'm working outside in the heat, the beer stays cold, like it just came out of the fridge |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Shocks and boots for the class 1 rig. 90mm for front and 70mm for rears. https://i.ibb.co/8sFwkB2/IMG-20200608-181210099.jpg |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Finally received it. This time, the photos ARE of the actual boat - ProMarine Skater X2, perfect for NAMBA's P-open class.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...900cfc71ec.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...60b1d85d73.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...27c43ff31b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9251bdf369.jpg Also received the FatShark/Spektrum FPV camera & Spektrum FPV camera cage that will be installed on the deck of the my rescue boat (ProBoat Shockwave 26), as well as the Spektrum FPV recording monitor to view the rescues from. If you look at the receiver connector on the camera (you can remotely activate/deactivate the camera using a switch assigned to any previously-unused channel), you get an idea of just how tiny the camera is.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...eb288b8eb1.jpg ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase 1 Attachment(s) ^ solid set up for that build! After selling some stuff I was able to make this happen. Not sure I’ll drive it a ton but it will see a couple different bodies. GNX first. |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase 4 Attachment(s) ^Nice buy TB! A drag car is next on my list!:) Well, I've been in this great hobby for about 34 years and finally bought my first Traxxas Slash! I never thought I'd by another go-fast rig after spending years racing off-road buggy and dirt oval. But I said WTH! Why not! A few friends in my area just picked up the Slash 4x4 and it kinda lit a spark to buy one. I think it will be a fun change to go bash and see what I can break! Since all that is happening in the world, it has been difficult to find any type of Slash 2WD or 4x4 in stock anywhere. I had my mind set on the Slash 4x4 Platinum edition, but everywhere I checked, it was out of stock. I was checking out the Traxxas website and noticed that the only Slash 4x4 that they had in stock was the Ultimate edition. So I settled on it and it arrived a few days ago. I also picked up a few upgrades to start out with. Attachment 389928 Attachment 389929 Attachment 389930 Attachment 389931 |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase Hey that’s a fun new toy right there. Those slash 4x4s can take a beating. Love bashing around the rally. Congrats on the new car! |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase That’s some good looking steel. I like that serrated back. Great trail knife amongst many other uses there. |
Pics of your latest purchase Just car parts lately for me. For my 16yo actually. Working on refurbing a 2005 VW GLI. Today a wheel bearing, wheel hub, and rad fan sensor. When pulling the culprit knuckle I noticed the LCA bushings were toast and the CV boots were cracked. So no rush on the bearing and tomorrow I'll pick up a Harbor Freight shop press. I've always wanted a shop press for some reason. This week I've done timing belt, water pump, fluids flush, door cards, and a bigger intercooler. Silver powder coat for the wheels showed up a couple days ago, too. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...dd64e5346a.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...68351b5bd8.jpg |
